I don't care what people think of my predictions ... this is talk about boxing ... you guys don't know me and i'm not pressed about anyones likeness about my knowledge in boxing.

I just brought up a topic ... don't take it personal ... just say what you think.

Arum wanted Margo/Cotto last June. Goosen promoted the Williams/Margo fight. No way in hell Arum would advise Margo to fight Williams, with Goosen promoting the fight, when he wanted Margo to fight Cotto.

If any of you chumps read my posts ... you would see that I think that Cotto could outbox Margarito ... just use his superior footspeed and his jab to offset Margarito's attack ...

i'm just fearful that he would get baited into a brawl ... the latin pride is something that can be a major downfall for a good boxer.

he aimes to to please instead of getting the win ... alot of people might think its gay or stupid, but I wouldn't mind Cotto going in and out, use the ring, hit and not get hit.

lets not jumped on conclusions so early. It hasn't been signed yet and i would repeat yet. I would like this fight, these 2 are currently are my favorites and would hate to see either of them lose but clearly 1 has got to go.

I see your point about fighters aiming to please the crowd, in which case could get them in trouble. That is exactly what happened when Cotto fought in front of his homecrowd for the first time against Torres. He fougth completely out of character for the first round.

Cotto hasnt done that since. Also, whether Cotto brawls or boxes, it's going to be crowd pleasing b/c even if he is counter punching or fighting off his back foot, he is still showing a good amount of offensive firepower.

Cotto has shown as of late that his punk ass can box and box well ... he boxed effectively off his back foot against Mosley and also showed good footwork and movements. He also showed good head and shoulder movement ... but I'm not truly convinced and its not because I hate Cotto or anything to do with PBF ... its just recently its been hard to trust him.

Tito is my favorite fighter ever ... and he was a sure thing ... I don't get that same feeling with Cotto.

I dont know Fitz. Tito was extremely one-dimensional. Dont get me wrong. That one-dimension he had was brutal. IMO any smart boxer could have beaten tito by sticking and moving for 12 rounds. Had DLH not gassed out the last 4 rounds, he would have beaten him. People were just dumb enough to get brave against tito and ended up getting their blocks knocked off.

However with Cotto, he is more of a safe bet b/c you know that just b/c someone is stronger they will not win, or just b/c someone is a great boxer they still may not win.

Can you say the same about Tito. Cotto is by far the more complete fighter. Tito just had more love from fans.

Thats hard to say ... Tito v Vargas ... Tito v Reid ... Tito v Carr ... Tito v DLH ... all were stick and move guys when they fought Tito.

Tito wasn't one deminsional ... he had power in both hands, deceptive speed, and great boxing ability ... he broke fighters down through his boxing.

Tito v Campos and Luis Garcia showed great inside fighting ...

Man I don't want to go back and fourth about who's better ... I'm totally bias when it comes to Tito and don't want to argue ... agree to disagree.
