No. That's called being a chicken****. Hopefully Cotto is a bigger man than that.

 You kill me wit your bull****, Eze. The only reason Cotto hasn't signed is because he hasn't met with Arum yet. He's arriving in Vegas today to discuss terms as mentioned in the following article...

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=3365846

"Said Arum: "It means that Las Vegas has opened up as an option for the fight. The Cotto team is flying in to visit with me on Tuesday and then we'll have a decision. But the glove size was important. Both of them have always fought in 8-ounce gloves."

Now please, crawl back into the hole you came out of and shut the **** up.

    Thanks.

The guy who wrote this article is the guy you need to be attacking. Malinowski has no journalistic integrity. He is constantly writing garbage, biased articles filled with half truths.

This Fitzgeraldz has to be that guy Addison from another board. Same guy has a mentally sick obsession with Cotto, makes 50 threads about Cotto a day and speculates about every single detail about the guy....He's probably making another thread about him over on that board right now.

Last night I read an article regarding this and absolutely know someone would try to spin this:patsch

According to that article(in case it hasn't been mentioned) Arum and Cotto will meet today and provide some answers after that meeting so let's just wait and see:deal

You must be crazy to say, that Margarito will beat Cotto. While I think it will be a tough fight, Cotto will out box Tony and bust him up,badly with that strong jab he has developed. One thing that Cintron prove when he lost to Tony, is that he ests every jab thrown to him.:bbb

About a week ago Cotto was asked about this in PR and he said that he just wanted to make sure he is getting the $$$ he wants for this fight which is around 5 - 8 million for this fight.

I think it's a done deal but it comes down to the $$$. Bob should iron this out soon... :smoke

No its called your being delusional, if Oscar stated he wanted to fight Cotto right not he would have the backing of HBO, I guarantee HBO would favor Oscar vs cotto fight then they would Cotto Vs Margartio.. why because numbers sales .. because the number of non-boxing fan and boxing fans watching the cotto vs Oscar , out weight the number of pure boxing fan.. wanting to see Cotto vs Margarito .

Well, if you wanna go that route. What would call what Marg did last year when he was set to fight Cotto in June? Margarito had already agreed to a deal, and okayed a press release announcing the fight...

    ----------------------------------

    http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=2764998

Unexpectedly spurned by Antonio Margarito for a big summer fight, welterweight titlist Miguel Cotto will instead defend against former undisputed champion Zab Judah in June -- as long as they each win interim bouts -- both sides told ESPN.com Tuesday night.

Margarito was supposed to fight Cotto on June 9, but to the shock of Arum, he accepted the terms of promoter Dan Goossen's winning purse bid to defend his version of the title against mandatory challenger Paul Williams.

Arum never submitted a bid because he said the Margarito camp told him not to bother because he was going to fight Cotto. Arum said Margarito had even approved a press release Top Rank sent out in which he said he was going to fight Cotto.

Arum and Margarito are headed toward litigation over the matter, but it didn't stop Arum from making an equally attractive replacement fight.

"I was terribly disappointed in the chicanery involving the Margarito situation, where they told us not to bid and then approved a press release saying he had agreed to fight Cotto," Arum said.

"But it is what it is, and we will go on."

    ----------------------------------

If Cotto doesn't sign the contract (which I doubt), how will it be any worse than Margarito turning down a Cotto fight last year to take on(and eventually lose to) a former sparring partner?
