Cotto ducks no one, it's probably a money issue that his team hasn't agreed on but the man wouldn't back out from a fight, IMO

how about you sux the dick , thats clearly up your ally  or maybe you should watch rocky movies made by disney ... get ****ing real ******* ..
Boxing doesn't have the numbers strong hold it had 35 year ago, like in the 60, 70 and 80, even in the mid 80 the medical profession was calling for a ban on the sport and they were doing there best to do just that and did everything they could to weaken public interest. it wasn't until mike tyson turned the number around and brought back public interest back by sheer number only to the sport of boxing.

If it wasn't for mike tyson showing the networks the numbers , boxing would have died off long ago.. or have you not noticed boxing taking a back seat to sport like tennis and swimming for god sakes.

boxing is still hanging in there because of numbers, but you can bet if the rating take anymore of a hit it will be gone. it very simple if there is no public interest in the fight, the network take a hit , then the promoter takes a hit and there for the fighters take a hit.. **** rolls down hill.

Honor , pride IMO only take place in amateur - pro is business if you can't except that then you need to grow up ..

let me guess ass hole you don't have true foot hold on reality .. or should I remind you the Margarito bowed out of his fight with cotto for more money to fight Williams ..

that sound like a business decision to me, even when Arum was going to sue his ass, for fighting williams .. sounds like business to me idiot.

we the boxing fans demand it really and just how many of us do you think still exists. ? ****ing bozo ..

I remember reading that Margarito took the fight with Williams first so he would NOT lose his belt(lost it anyway) and could come into the COtto fight as a Champion and therefore having more leverage in the business negotiations.

but the business side of it was Arum wanted Margarito to drop the belt and fight Cotto.. Goosen offered margartio more money and a chance to keep his belt , when margarito went back to negotiate more money with Arum to take the cotto fight Arum said go fight , Williams .. only to say later he didn't really meant it when he was about to sue margartio for fighting Williams ..

Arum did everything he could do to stop the fight only to be threaten buy Goosen who said he would sue both margarito and Arum if the fight didn't happen after margarito had already sign the contract..

someone want to tell me again that boxing is not a business. :huh
