Making the canelo fight predictions based on the trout fight as if cotto could never ever top that performance or prepare better? Ignorance

Didn't morales looked like **** agains raheem but then gave hell to maidana and garcia?

Didn't wlad get ktfo by sanders and brewster and look how dominant he is now

Didn't marquez lose to norwood and john and proceeded to ktfo the fighter of the decade?

    I rest my case

Because many people are fanboys and not boxing fans. This is a truly 50/50 fight. Cotto is a veteran boxer who has been in the ring with some of the best fighters in the business. Canelo has been a rising star in boxing who never backs down from any challenge and accepted his defeat like a man in the face of obvious judging errors.
    People are just weird.

That fight means nothing except it does show cottos limitations. He should had done better, not like he was having weight trouble and he was physically in shape but mentally he doesn't have the IT factor. He looks like it against over matcheddar opponents buto you'll see on the 21st.

He will retire after this inevitable one sided beating. He will gave some moments and maybe won some or even close on rounds but he's getting tko'd or possibly ko'd

Yeah but those guys didn't lose to Margarito, Pacquiao, Mayweather, Mosley and Clottey, and almost get KO'd by Corley, Judah and Torres either.

This is the loss that told him he did not have the fire he needed to continue in boxing, which is why he hooked up with Roach and Roach did bring it back. It has no other significance than that. The guy had three depressing losses with what now looks like it may have been three cheaters instead of two, can't blame him for having hard time keeping the desire alive after that..

I had it the opposite, but a draw is fine, what about the Clottey fight?

I think Cotto has improved since the Trout fight. He seems to be in a better place Mentally and Physically and its showing in his training and past performences, granted not against an Excellent opponent as Canelo. That said i think Canelo is also in a better place and his size, strength, and combination punching will be too much for the Smaller but Gamed Cotto. AND THE NEWWWWW!

I had it a draw 6-6 in rounds, but the knockdown put cotto ahead by a 1 point margin. giving him the Victory in my eyes, though a Draw is good as well.7-5 to clottey would make it an even fight on points.

Cotto having to contend with blood in his eyes from a brutal head butt gash as well as Clottey, is the only thing that made Clottey ultra competitive like he was. Cotto should be commended for finishing the fight instead of taking the certain and easy win had he just said "I can't see" at the completion of the fourth, instead haters focusing on some "he should've lost" argument when it could've gone either way is what haters do I guess.

CST80 conveniently over looks that "BillyGoat" Headbutt from Clottey yet makes a constant case of it in the Geale fight!

    LOL at the selective reasoning...!

Cotto blood is boiling, when he thinks about the fight thoughts of quiting come to his head, thats the quit gene he has in him that all kneecans have in them since they submitted without a fight to the spanish conquistadores some centuries ago, its stronger than him ,all you will witness this phenom again on the 21 of november.

A lot of people felt Trout beat Canelo who was then dominated by Lara so they thought Lara would easily beat Canelo.

I disagree. Clottey was just on a similar level to Cotto at that weight and at that time. He is a very under rated fighter.

If he were on Cotto's level and then had Cotto at the big disadvantage he had you would think he would be able to come away with a clear victory.
