So size means nothing for Floyd, but everything for Cotto?

You must think Floyd would destroy Cotto based on that statement.

No shame in ducking Martinez, to fight the man that ko'ed Martinez in the past, at least Cotto is man enough to try to avenge his lose.

Yes, against a man who has not won a legit fight in 3 years, was caught cheating, got violently KO'ed by a guy Cotto beat, and was nearly retired after letting an oversized JWW beat him nearly to death.

    Yeah, ok.....

Well Floyd destroys him at any weight, but Cotto is another guy Floyd was accused of ducking. Yet Cotto constantly gets away with not fighting top fighters from other stables, and no one says anything about it. Yet with Floyd, people say he's scared to death. It doesnt make any sense.

Yes, BECAUSE ALL 3 ARE PROMOTED BY ARUM!!!

But he can't say that he fought MArtinez, Tszyu, Hatton, Gatti, Paul Williams, Berto, DLH, Floyd, or any other non Top Rank promoted fighters that were champions when he was fighting.

He can also say that he was never a lineal champion at any weight he fought at, despite the fact there were clear lineal champs in each of the divisions he fought at (Tzsyu and Hatton at 140, Floyd at 147, the offer for Martinez at 155).

Once could say they never fought Cotto, but it can also be said that Cotto never fought them or even attempted to do so.

Margarito is really a never was, the 2 best names on his resume are Mosley and Pac. :deal

I think there's a lot of truth to this. The fact is neither Cotto nor Mayweather nor Pacquiao is under any obligation whatsoever to face Martinez. Cotto probably doesn't even belong at 154, and Mayweather and Pacquiao quickly left the division after taking single fights there. I would be interested in seeing any of these fights, and I think Martinez is perfectly justified in offering to face any of them at a reasonable weight, but none of them can really be said to be "ducking" him. People who try to portray one of them as ducking while not holding others to the same standard reveal their bias.
