Most def. Good fight that more than justified the build up and hype. Cotto fans, Floyd fans, neutrals, they all got their moneys worth. Enjoyed it.

But that was a couple of years ago that Pac stopped him.. I don't think that affected the way he felt in his performance last night against Floyd....he did better than ANYONE expected....I thought Miguel was stong, healthy and motivated after he signed on to fight Floyd? Miguel didn't look like a Pac "leftover" last night that's for sure unless Floyd is losing his edge.

 

He won one more round then i predicted on 2 judges scorecards. Dont exaggerate. He got beat up and it looked like Floyd carried him in the 12th.

Clear lose not even a particularly close fight. Mayweather is leagues above Cotto and while Cotto maxed out after 8 rounds Floyd was clowning with the h o crew like couldve went another 12.

Floyd didnt lose like pac did against marquez

LOL.. you realize that just because Floyd won more rounds doesn't mean the fight was close or competitive. Floyd didn't dominate like everyone expected and that's not exaggerating. Floyd didn't carry Cotto.....he was cautious in rd 12 not to get caught sleeping because he respected Miguels power.

Manny didn't struggle the way Floyd did against Cotto....Ricky or DLH.

Cotto gave a great effort he and his fans have nothing to be ashamed of. But he won no more than three rounds in that fight.

 

Miguel knows he gave it everything he had and it still wasn't good enough. That's a hard thing to swallow.

 

? Floyd landed an uppercut... AND? Cotto was in his face after taking the shot... Punches will land, let's NOT hype up FLoyd's best punch of the fight for more than what it was... A punch that landed.

Maybe those body shots Cotto was tagging Floyd with all night had more to do with Floyd NOT being able to go for the "kill" in the 12th.
