over at the scene cotto talks about how he has great motivation to get back in the ring and end the year on a high note..after december he will rest and then decide whats next.."maravilla is on the list we will not rule him out" "I would surely face him"

canelo, cotto, martinez are the new fab four (obviously minus the fourth member) with all the possible matchups they have going on right now. to me it seems like they are all throwing each others name out there to make sure nobody tries to undercut during negotiations (ie if x is undercut by y then x can go fight z, and vice versa) so we are sure to get a match in these negotiations inevitably in any combination by this invisible pressure

floyd would be a possible 4th member, if he wants. whoever comes out on top from these three will inevitably go after him for money.

cotto probably should fight martinez, because though he can beat canelo it is also a war that might end his career, if he loses to martinez he can have the excuse that he was too big, and still fight canelo later. unless martinez knocks him out brutally, which is the only way he would lose anything in that fight in an overall financial sense

Cotto! The modern day warrior. He doesn't avoid tough challenges, he embraces them.

No way will he fight Sergio. I definitely see him fighting Canelo in May if he beats Trout, which I have ZERO problem with. Cotto is a G

Cotto: I want Martinez at 155, at 155 i'm all for it. I tried to get Margarito at 150 but they wouldn't budge so we had to do it at 153. Pacquiao need to stop draining me and fight me at my weight.

How things are shaping up, Canelo fights every 3 months or so.. they can probably do it.

So I'm thinking they can squeeze in their mando in 2/13 then Cotto/Martinez/May in 5/13

He should fight Canelo more money and more chance to win, and then winner should fight Sergio...

Canelo is a Mexican with a WBC belt. He doesn't really have a mandatory.
