Miguel Cotto is more than willing to go down in weight to fight Pacquiao and meet him somewhere between 143-144.

This would be a great fight and although it wont be the Cotto we know at 147, it will be an awesome fight.

Cotto says, that in order to defeat Pacquiao a fighter must actually have and show defense...... he says, if a fighter does that Morales did in the first fight, which was fight back but at the same time show defense when needed...

He's not going to get any payday, I hope he realizes that. If he did actually get one from Arum, he's being setup to lose with that weight, I hope he realizes that as well.

I also agree that 143 is way too low for him but I guess he wants that big fight.

Cotto should focus on beating Clottey. That man is tough enough as it is without him being distracted by a potential Pac fight.

    Damn Miguel...

I was just about to potentially jump off your hate train.

But damn son. You takin Clottey kind of lightly. You will have more than you rhands full with that big head motha****a. You need to worry about him. First your training camp situation, and now your new business venture as a boxer/agent?

And if you somehow survive this and fight Pac at a catchweight, you will get mowed down. You hear me son? Mowed.

Arum is a piece of work. Cotto is fighting another Top Rank fighter in June, yet he's already talking about Cotto's next fight.

Arum and Top Rank have done this to Cotto in the past, promised him something out of the blue and backed out of it. They have done it quite a number of times, last year with DLH was the latest example where he promised him DLH but negotiated Pac-DLH at the same time and signed that fight. They are just doing it again. Arum wants the Mayweather fight. He has shown he by his previous examples he has no interest in giving Miguel Cotto a big payday, which is part of why Cotto wants to leave him. They always promise him something but lie to him and always are working on something else.

Now, if he was to actually get the payday, he would have to give in enough weight to weaken himself and make himself into a "DLH weakened" state. Arum's parting gift to Cotto since he doesn't want to renew his contract is to weaken him enough that it would assist in getting him another loss before he leaves. The evidence is out there, not really hard to connect the dots on this.
