Don't think anyone will say that, I'm a Cotto fan myself and didn't look to make excuses just like the rest when he lost to Margarito. A fight that was proven fake with Margarito's filthy cheating tactics.

If Cotto loses I'm damn sure there will be many, not necessarily Cotto fans but just Manny haters, who will bring up stupid excuses like "Cotto was softened by Margarito", "Cotto is weight drained!, he had major issues at 140 so he HAD to make 147" and more.

Every Pacquiao win we see endless excuses.

Cotto will be weight drained..MARK MY WORDS.

It seems to be the excuse of the day when Pac starches people.

The current Pac is way, way better than the one who fought Morales the first time! If Cotto thought that he would fight and thus prepare for the same one-dimensional Pac, he would fall as easy as Hatton.

Yeah but JMM has underrated handspeed. Cotto is not slow but he's too slow for Pac! Pac by KO at 143 lb.

No he doesn't. Cotto probably stops Pac at 147. In fact I think he does it kind of easily. Cotto is chinny at any weight less than WW and would probably get stopped. He was KILLING himself fighting at 140.
