    Yeah... very true.. financially Cotto doesn't need the money but it's always good. He has several gas stations in Puerto Rico, several apartment complex, his own promotional company and has good boxing shows every few months... So he is good economically at the moment.

    When he agreed to the 145, he got paid very well for that Manny fight, over 10 Mill i believe after Pay Per View... this time around, i think he understands that money not worth it.

    Way to go Cotto. It's good to see that he's not falling for Pac bull ****. It's tactics like this that make me doubt Manny so called greatness. He did fight Clottey at 147lbs, so why not Cotto??? It's obvious why he didn't. So I guess Mayweather vs Cotto is next. I personally think Floyd should fight him at 154 not at 150. The win for Mayweather would look much better, then it did for Pac when he fought Cotto. Because he's going in Cotto back yard to take the title, the same way he did to De La Hoya.

    150 is one thing, but 147 is another story. Plus, last time I heard JMW is 148 though 154. Another thing, I don't believe Cotto would go down to 147 for any amount of money. He has money. He needs his health and feels it will be a even playing field at 154.

    Yes, but now he is his own man with his Promotional Company. He will make more promoting it with either Arum or PBF. He knows what he is doing.

    He was driven out of the division. Doesn't mean he grew into 154 and can't go back. He knows he has a better chance above that weight if he fights Pac.

    Still, it's Cotto, he gave into Pac's CW b4. Fight should not be at 147..150 would be ok, 154 would maximize Cotto's chances=better fight

    A man in demand! Cotto calling shots.... Good for him. He wants to have a shot at redemption but this time he wants to control the weight like he did in bus redemption fight with Marg... Can Cotto ease both of his losses? Makes for an incredible comeback story. I'd love to see it.... But I don't think he beats Pac at any weight. I can't wait to see him try.
