also cotto's prime and peak happened at WW. cotto can say that he is confident now and it's good for him coming into the fight and wish him best but the truth is, he is past his prime now and would ahve a better chance if this fight happened back in 2008.

There you have it people, another fighter who used to work with Arum letting it be known that he's a sack of ****...lol. I'm glad this fight is happening now and not then, for reasons such as, Cotto is more popular now then he was then, which means more money. He's bigger then what he was then, giving him more of an advantage in size/weight. He's been tested and survived, giving him more experience now then what he had then. If they had met earlier I have no doubt Cotto would have still lose the fight. He's a better, smarter and stronger fighter now, which makes him more of a challenge, then what he would of been then.

 

Wtf do u mean prime weight. That has nothing to do with this situation.


160 is Martinez's prime weight but it would still be more impressive for Mayweather to beat him at 168 than 160.

PS 145 was not Cotto's prime weight.
