Of course Floyd will not mistreat him in the ring the way Pac did.

Cotto didn't exactly have a clear cut prime. Mosley fight maybe? But even then, he didn't exactly dominate. He looked great for the most part at 140 but also was wobbled and couldn't get rid of guys like Paulie.

Laughable to suggest Pac fought a better version coming off Margo and Clottey.

Neither the version of Cotto that fought Pac nor the version of Cotto that's gonna fight Mayweather was prime Cotto at his best but.......

This version is a much more motivated Miguel who's avenged his biggest loss and more confident than ever fighting at weight he's comfortable at vs Mayweather rather than being drained, mentally broken and not as focused vs Pac.....

The weight was the difference from what was reported after the Cotto/PAC fight fell through for the rematch. PAC wanted to stay at 147...Cotto didn't. Floyd was willing to go up to 154... Thus we finally have the fight between Miguel and Floyd that we wanted 5 or 6 yrs ago.

Cotto -is easier fight than Ortiz
Zero adjustment skills which is why after camp dont even matter who in his corner.
It will be a dull fight and Cotto will never get to Floyd and frustrate fans,
    Save ur $.

Nothing can be taken away from Pac, May or Cotto. All three are accomplished in the sport. My take on it is this:

Pac- King of catchweights, hurt his credibility with all the drug test refusals.
May- 42 have tried 42 have failed, I say 42 have been hand picked to try, and that's not the same thing.
Cotto- Although he is the less technically superior of the three, has fought everyone the promoters put on front of him.

All things being equal, I believe any of the three could be victorious in the ring against the other on any given night. It's boxing, and nothing is guaranteed until they step in the ring.

    I had 8-4 Marquez.

Judging Cotto being shot is hard because he didn't blast out inferior opposition, lost to pac one of the greatest of this generation and will lose to Floyd, another one of the greatest of this generation, no matter when you put Cotto in with either he would lose, he will only be shot when he loses two or more in a row to people who were never on his level
