Cotto: I'M NOT A MIDDLEWEIGHT

Cotto's the lineal MW champion, him being a small MW doesn't excuse him from fighting GGG and this Cotto-weight stuff is annoying.

But he's likely fighting Canelo next and I have wanted to see that fight for awhile, so I am definitely looking forward to it. Actually I can't wait for it.

 

Cotto wants the cake and eat it too. Love the MW belt but not defend it. How long WBC would wait before an ultimatum.

 

Same here, but if he doesn't fight GGG after that, he should be stripped of his belt. GGG should be his mandatory after Canelo...

I prefer Cotto to give that belt move down and fight Canelo for the lineal title at Jr middle if Cotto move down they they are clearly the best two of that division with Lara very close third. Cotto has a chance to become lineal at two divisions and enhance His legacy.

 

Cotto should expose WBC and say:

'I'm not a MW, I'm just holding the belt as a bargain chip for Canelo fight, WBC won't strip me because they want commission money, I have no intention of fighting GGG, both I and Sulaiman know this, this is all a theatre.'

All Three G has is the best excuse to fight a big name opponent he has a big advantage over and that's a horrible reason to defend him. He wants big money fights and he wants them at an advantage, whereas, Cotto and Canelo just want big money fights. To top it off, when it comes to Canelo they're all over the place. Somehow the argument that Canelo comes in as a middle makes him fair game and displaces the one Cotto does not come in as a middle but yet he's still fair game because he fights there?? OK, I'm confused, are we talking about solid boundaries here or not, do we consider where a person should be fighting at or only is fighting at, because with you guys that changes like the flow of water.

Cotto is fighting at Middleweight other Middleweight weight guys for Middleweight title. However, he doesn't want to fight Golovkin because he is not a Middleweight weight. :rofl

In other words, Cotto knows he is getting KOed by Golovkin.

 

If cojones were involved he'd be cutting his own path to supers****om by continually beating guys that are seen as his equal or that he is at a disadvantage against, like those guys he seeks did. And that means no matter where those challenges are found, which is how Pac ended up at welter, Cotto at middle, Floyd at Super welter etc...you think they belong there at the time they went there?? lol, no, that's just cojones.

 

I guess the question is why you seem to care about Cotto holding on to MW belts and titles.
