No way does Cotto have a better resume than Hatton. Both men have fought good fighters but you better have another look at their resumes. As for who is the better fighter. That question is best anwsered in the ring and I do not have Cotto as a big favorite given the way Cotto has been rocked in the past.

This is clearly a case of what have you done for me lately. Hatton has been ktfo in a blink of an eye against a top 3 talent in the sport. Hard to forget but lets try remember how many times Cotto has been in trouble lower echelon fighters. Both fighters are a little lacking in defense and both cut easily. These match ups are hard to call. Both are good body punchers and both have shown they are not hard to hurt with body shots. Both are world class fighters who have put up in the past good fights for their fans. I wonder why this matchup never happened 2 or 3 years ago?

But Cotto would had his ass kicked either way, plaster or not

And Shane would've beat Margarito's ass even if his gloves were loaded with ****ing horseshoues

If Cotto loses if PAC, maybe Hatton can call out Cotto... Hatton needs some proof from Cotto if he's really overrated...;)

I tend to think he would've made it through the final bell and won a controversial SD. or possibly a UD. I mean who knows...maybe he would've continued to school him till round 8 and then started some serious backpedaling...the bodywork is what got Cotto to slow down in the crucial rounds when Margarito had his shining moments...had Margarito NOT had the power he did have had he had plaster, it might have took him more rounds to wear him down...he wouldn't of had enough IMHO and would've lost a UD like he typically does for taking too long to wear an opponent down.
