Cotto: "I'm not an overrated Hatton"

It was a bit harsh what I said, but one must look in the mirror before sticking the boot into other people, IMO.

It wouldn't bother me being written off in a fight, in fact I'd relish it. Depends on the psyche of the individual I guess.

I still think it's out of character. One of 3 things are possible to explain this, IMO:

1-Cotto never said it and the general are going into a frenzy over nothing again.
2-He answered a loaded question solely intended to skew his response.
3-He snapped after the press kept asking Pacquiao questions and talking down Cotto's chances.

 

As TFFp says Cottos probably getting sick of being the underdog and hearing that Pac is going to do him what he did to Hatton.

No big deal esp. leading up to a fight.

 

I'd say it will be a mixture of 2 and 3.
