I was being sarcastic, my hate for Cotto is just so strong at the time, and never understood the hype he got, when he has a history of ducking and cherrypicking, then the **** that spews from his mouth, just turns me off, a pure diva-esqe *****.........
atsch Umm Nyc is basically a puerto rico city. How i know? Cause i live next to nyc for 32 years. There are many like millions of ppl in nyc/nj that are puerto ricans. If thats the case of what you saying then how come chavez sr barely fights in nyc when he was fighting? How come not morales? barrera? marquez? The msg arena is the most famous arena in the world today.
I'm not sure what the connection is here when comparing bitches with Cotto? I mean this guy has pretty much given up all concessions when fighting big fights with other champions. With Pac he agreed to his belt and a catch weight and with Margo he fought in enemy territory. It's refreshing knowing he has decided to stand up for himself.
Maybe Cotto is worried that Denver or Phoenix has a big Mexican population which probably let Margo cheat again
WHATTT!?!!?!??! THAT IS SIMPLY NOT TRUE Cotto has 38 pro fights. Of those 38 fights there are only 3 opponents with a losing record. Some Scalps on Cotto's Resume (with record of undefeated opponents at time of fight) Carlos Maussa (17-0-0) Victoriano Sosa Lovemore N'Dou Kelson Pinto (21-0-0) Randall Bailey Demarcus Corley Muhammad Abdulaev Ricardo Torres (28-0-0) Gianluca Branco Pauli Malignaggi (21-0-0) Carlos Quintana(23-0-0) Zab Judah Shane Mosley Antonio Margarito - When he was "The most feared man" Joshua Clottey Manny Pacquiao come on now
shows you what gameplan cotto had in mind. he's planning to "box", which we've witnessed time and again from him what his definition of boxing is. so he needs those PR fans to influence the judges :yep you're going against a one-eyed cheater who got the beating of a century in his last fight whose struggling to get a license due to his health, nothing to be scared of cotto :yep "that cotto, how he cries"
Not likely, I just think he's fed up with having to concede, he's the champ they should fight on his terms
LMAO! that was a funny ass comment, but seriously though he never complained or accused Margo until the jury was out so I commend him for that. I feel like all this talk or wraps was just to add to the drama of the bout and lure in the casual fans that still think Margo is a champion and Cotto is the PR savior.
This is set up to be the pinnacle of Cotto's career. He avenges his first, controversial loss at home in front of his his fans. After all he's been through in and out of the ring, he deserves a moment in the sun on his terms. That being said, once the emotional response ebbs and the numbers get crunched, I could see him agreeing to fight elsewhere. Not Phoenix, though.
