after he fought Pac he was shot. Now that he gave Floyd the toughest fight of his career, he's in his prime. :good
Both Cotto and Floyd are past their primes. It woulda been nice if they had fought back in 07, when both were still prime. I don't think it woulda been any different than tonight though.
Cotto's physical prime has passed him by, unlike Shane Mosley who looks to be getting better with every fight.
Cotto's issue has always been mental. After the margo fight he broke down and cried. he had a really difficult time getting over it and was struggled in every one of his fights up to the pac fight and looked like he loss his heart. Pac fight sort of gave him a opportunity to show his heart again. after pac he got new trainers and got his swag back and was on a mental high after beating margo, a real emotional victory for him.
