Everybody always talk about mayweather this mayweather that he didn't look that good against Ortiz Cotto is a better puncher and boxer then anybody mayweather faced in the last .....well ever... i for one think Cotto will beat Mayweather cause to be honest this will be his toughest challenge cause mayweather havent fought nobody besides castillo corrales Cotto Ko late rounds

Right. But you really don't want to see this fight? It's a good look for Jr. He would most likey have a masterful performance against a durable and capable Cotto. The hype would be huge and Miguel has enough to present some danger for Floyd. It's a fight fans fight across the board.

Right.... Which neither have a promoters licences which is why Floyd fights under Golden Boy and Cotto under TR. There's a slight chance they discussed a fight between the two future hall of famers.

this is a fight i actually would pay to see and would give cotto and good enough chance of winning if he is aggressive and avoids getting frustrated and counter punched by floyd

Preferred choices for Floyd's next fight:

    1. Pac
    2. Martinez
    3. Cotto

Cotto's earned the right to be the third option, and it would[/] be a fight that I'd love to see, since it would be aesthetically pleasing and well contested for as long as it lasted (maybe not closely contested, but well fought at any rate). At this point, a win over Cotto wouldn't have the same impact as a victory over Pac to determine who the best fighter of the generation truly is...Or over the reigning middleweight champ in Martinez...But it certainly wouldn't hurt PBF's legacy at any rate.

Cotto would be the lowest risk/ highest reward compared to high risk fights with either Pacman or Sergio. Its been a long awaited fight so it would still sell well. And besides, besides a boxing fans delight, in general it was always thought Cotto would get dominated, but not pummeled like Manny did to him. Then their is the slight chance Cotto wont be affected by Floyds shots as he was from Mannys and may make a better account of himself vs Floyd. I really miss that Chavez like style he had at 140 he should try that if he faced Floyd because outboxing Floyd I dont think is a good idea. At this point Arum needs Cotto as much as Cotto needs Arum.

Cotto is a greater risk than Manny...IMO. I would much rather see the Pac fight, but in terms of legitimate risk, Cotto is a bigger risk to Floyd than Manny.

Not my first choice either but I'm looking at it from a realistic stand point. Floyd fighting is always a good thing for the sport but PAC is coming off a less than stellar performance....He's got no call in when or where the fight takes place because Floyd snatched that from the negotiation table by setting ultimatums. Momentum is everything in boxing and Floyd is trying or has gotten into PAC's head with the help of the lackluster performance where he won a controversial decision. Floyd said "losing is on his mind". That is telling anyone who read or heard those words that Floyd feels he has the upper hand.

PAC most likely will not agree to fight Floyd without having his own voice in where, when and how this fight happens. Manny will likely try to get back in the ring and put on a stellar performance before revisiting the notion of this mega fight.
