We know this will turn into an excuse if he loses/gets cut in his next fight.

That's counter-punching at its finest though... also I don't see why Juanma didn't just go after him right then and there. :\

That cut might cause problems for Miguel in his career because it was a big one on a bad spot and the scar tissue that will remain might open up easier than before. It should heal up very good though by the time of the fight as long as he takes care of it.

Cotto's neither as accurate nor as agile. The outcome might differ from that which you expect.

    Juanma-nuel marquez

And that is the difference, Cotto is not a counter-puncher.

****, that was amazing, and I'm a Pac fan. Pac was showing good movement in this IMO. Aggressive 3 punch combo then move to the side with his left hand up (while JMM was backing up from the aggression) to avoid a counter from the right but JMM got the timing and the distance right and was able to stick the left hook in to start his own combo

    Anyway...

    War Pac!

In no way is this an easy one for either fighter :good

My friend, based on his retreating style against both Margarito and Clottey what makes you think that he will be able to withstand Pacquiao? Don't get me wrong, I would love for Cotto to win and shut up all of the Pacquiao bandwagon jumpers but I don't think that he will be able to handle Pacquiao's speed or power (even at 147).

    Me neither.

Plus, it's obvious to me that Cotto's confidence took a hit after the Margo disaster, whereas Pac's confidence has got to be at an all-time high.

All Clottey had to do to win was go all out on Cotto sometime in the 10th or 11th round, Cotto looked defenseless. If Clottey would have smothered him a la Margarito, he would have put Cotto on the canvas. But every time he had Cotto on his heels, he let off of him.

That's why I can easily see Pacman beating Cotto, by KO no less, Pac's got that killer instinct that Clottey didn't.

Manny's jaw is good but not that good, he cannot take a Cotto flush shot because he will get seriously hurt. Cotto is going to destroy Manny, please believe that!
