I'm really impressed with how well Miguel's english skills have improved. He is actually answering questions correctly. before, he would be given a question and not even come close to answering it. it'll take him a long way i believe.

It shouldn't matter to champion, but sometimes it does play a factor. Cotto has had the Boricua support in New York, Jersey, and Puerto Rico to the fullest. So it will be a new expirience for Cotto. Margo is used to being the visitor in hostile territory.

I noticed that too, he realized early in his career that being able to speak English in interviews would help his marketing.

Speaking English is not going to make him more marketable. He has a dull personality and is about as charasmatic as a tree. He needs to let his fists do the talking and let the fans translate his wins or losses as they may.

he has been letting his fists do the talking. if he talks **** then he is an ******* if he is quiet then he is dull. i would prefer him to do his talkin in the ring. which he has been. no complaints here

This fighter is rapidly becoming my favourite fighter. I like the passive- aggressive way he fights. Fascinating.

Who cares about Charisma?? This is boxing. Cotto is somewhat different. Is like a double personality. Even during fights where he moves at differents speeds. I loved the way he fought against Gomez. I know Gomez wasn't the best opponent but has made a lot of people look bad. But What I loved was the fact Cotto wasn't trying to knock him out. You can tell Cotto was enjoying what he was doing. He was having fun and testing different tools. It was just beautyful to see a boxer enjoy his work like that.
