He could no longer make 147, he weighed in today at 154 on the button and will rehydrate well above this.

And arguably Mayweather's best weights were 135 and 140 so there's little point here with this argument.

How did you know? he was actually demanding 150 for pac and margarito. cotto at 154 is not suitable for his frame like at 147. for 154, he is a midget.

Hes short but hes broad. He is visibly bigger than Mayweather. He is small but not that small for 154. He hasn't weighed in at welter since the pac fight, that was 2 years ago. Its just common sence to know he shouldnt be going down to welterweight now, he would be drained.

Being drained to fight at a weight is not necessarily bad. For cotto's frame and height, 147 is suitable for him. i understand that he wants to eat his extra food like pac is doing now at WW. Most boxers actually drain for the weight they are fighting at. doing so would give them advantages like being able to have more speed and ensure that they have the discipline to train well.

As you get older you naturally get bigger aswell as not being able to cut weight as easily, Cotto might have been prime at 147 but he would be weight drained at this weight now so it irrelevant. You might aswell say that Floyd should cut down to 135 lb and fight there.

the topic is stupid as **** and not worth talking about. Cotto is a hell of a lot more comfortable at the weight than Floyd. The same Floyd who rehydrates on fight night less than light welterweights and even Rios whose a lightweight

Arum moved him up to get him another title since Pac was in the WW division.
