I will use a stream and then watch a HQ version on youtube to see Cotto's ugly face covered with blood better.

Regardless of this I hope Cotto gets a f***ing beating Saturday.

I liked him once but he has turned into a diva with a cowardly streak.

Cotto will do whatever he's legally obligated to do. There's not a person who would just go on the promise of like say, a car, if their supposed to get one. They are going to make sure it's in writing, yet we're talking about 800k and you think that's supposed to happen on a word? Also, Cotto is not a doctor denying life saving treatment to a baby nor can he be compared to one. Posts like that make me understand the criticism you're getting.

They're not really being scammed though. They paid for Cotto vs Canelo and that's what they'll get. It doesn't really make a difference to them how much step aside money GGG gets (and he still might get it anyway).

Leave Cotto alone, like I said on another thread, Cotto needs this money for a ball transplant, he lost his two.

How did Cotto duck GGG? he won the belt vs the Real MW Champ, went through a contract dispute with TR cameback took a tuneup vs GGGs best win and is now fighting in the second biggest fight this year.
The whole time Cotto has repeatedly said GGG can get it after the Alvarez fight. Was even willing to pay part of the sanctioning fee to keep his title and the 800k for GGG being mandatory. At what point was the actions of a duck?
As for the fee Cotto probably thought he could negotiate a lower price which the WBC has done for other high profile fighters, after paying 800k to make the bigger fight and 25k from the promoter the sanction the fight. Its not unreasonable for Cotto to try to get a better deal.

If GGG bypassed Johnson the IBF mandatory to make a fight with Alvarez that isnt a duck its putting a lesser bout on hold for a mega fight. A duck is GGG making excuses about a fghter not being a draw as a reason to not fight only to fight a guy noone has ever heard of.

GGG is a mandatory, so Cotto had to fight him next. Taking on a softer opponent clearly constitutes ducking.

Cotto has repeatedly said he not a middleweight, Cotto has had no intention of fighting Golovkin.

This not paying of the sanctioning fee is another way of not fighting Golovkin should he win Saturday, it's early groundwork, just like Oscar saying Canelo will fight Golovkin "eventually" and now he wants it to "marinate" for 12-18 months.

Cotto is just looking for a way out and making his excuses early.

on paper 2/3 of Cotto's MW wins are better than GGG. Alvarez is more proven vs better comp and a former unified Champ, also a higher profile fight for more money. the one guy you could argue was a softer touch was Geale but again Geale is GGG's best win and was used as a tuneup after missing a year trying to get out of a top rank contract.

This may come as a shock to you but some boxing fans are ONLY excited about the prospect of seeing Miguel Cotto and Saul "Canelo" Alvarez fight in the ring.

But I'm talking about the actual fight itself. The fight itself is exactly the same whether Cotto pays GGG money or not.

Cotto is still the lineal champ anyway.
