Neither Oscar nor Tito should have fought Hopkins. They just didn't belong in a ring against such a big guy. Oscar should have learn after watching the BHOP/ Tito fight. But I guess he thought he could outbox Bernard. After all, he made a career fighting guys Tito already fought.

 

oscar made a career fighting guys who made him the most money.
oscar only fought hopkins because both tito and mosley rejected rematches for less money against a guy they already beat..
oscar ONLY took hopkins as a next-best option.

 

I think he just means Cotto is a nice guy and down to earth person. He was just trying to say something nice about Cotto while he was getting his ass kicked

 

the thing you have to like about cotto is that he only talks when there is something to say and, unlike some fighters, he doesn't make excuses or try to justify anything that he doesn't need too.

i really don't care what the commentators say.
cotto is an introvert who ante's up when he has too - and i think people shouldn't hang off the words of commentators as much as they do....
