    Great post!!!!:good

Also like Duran, and Chavez. And these are two guys who in their prime never took a beating like some calculated boxers such as Cotto has.

I think you're confusing the term "warrior" with the term "dumbass who stands still & gets brain damage"

Whenever I hear someone critique a fighter's heart or warrior mentality, my first thought is "have you ever boxed?"

Because fighting, ANY fighting, takes guts. The first time you spar, even if you're sparring someone who sucks...it's scary. You get hit for the first time, and even with the headgear and gloves on, it still hurts, and hurts a good bit.

And if any of you have ever had to spar someone who is a pro (or just a lot better than you), then you know even moreso how much boxing hurts. Not only does it hurt, but it is extremely discouraging having someone hitting you pretty much at will, and not being able to hurt them back. And I'm talking SPARRING still.

So when a guy like Cotto is in the ring, taking BRUTAL punishment with small gloves from the greatest fighter on the planet, and not being able to fight back takes HUGE balls, and more than that, a desire to fight.

He's not a warrior, he tucked tail and ran against a fighter that he's bigger and stronger than. He in fact did quit when he started running. He was running so much Pac just looked at him wondering wether or not he should continue to chase him.

Cotto was getting bullied in the ring by little pacman, how pathetic. Watch when they shpw the fight again, when you are able to take the emotion and analyze the fight, you will agree, Pac punked Cotto.

The fact that he's willing to fight the likes of Margo, Clottey & Pac prove he's a warrior IMO

    Cotto's a warrior.

He's been knocked down (torres, Corley, Pac) and has composed himself and gets straight back to the fight.
He has suffered major cuts and bruises (Margarito, Clottey, Pac) and has fought on and never gave up.
He has faught anyone put in front of him and has never ducked no man.

    Yes, Cotto's a warrior.

The thing is, through a TV screen, things are totally different. The average person would probably get knocked out cold by one punch from any decent pro boxer. Now you get guys like Cotto who have had 2 BRUTAL beat down's and other brutal fights but has carried on fighting, even with broken nose's, cut eyes, severly bruised faces, yet they are willing to fight on. You gotta see this **** FIRST HAND and decide for yourself my man.
