He basically said his side has given the conditions to Canelo and that he didn't impose any restrictions on Canelo. If his conditions are not met, seems like he will move on without hesitation.

Cotto is the Floyd in this scenario so Canelo needs to concede or the fight won't happen. (Rightfully so IMO) I'm a bit shocked that Cotto hasn't mentioned the venue (MSG) or given his opinion on the date.

All I know is the faster Cotto Canelo gets made the faster Floyd will have to decide what he's going to do. Hope it gets signed to put some real pressure on Floyd.

This fight is 1000x more likely to happen than floyd fighting pac.

Depends on Canelo. His ego will determine it.

It won't and I for one will be glad that it doesn't.

I guess if canelo-cotto doesn't happen, it will be Mayweather-Cotto II @ catchweight of 156 pounds for the Middleweight Title.

Why would you be glad? On paper it is a pretty decent fight.

Cotto is in a lovely position right now. Everyone has to come to him.

I'm surprised Mayweather hasn't seen his opportunity to put a spanner in Canelo's works and reached out to Cotto*. It would certainly muddy the waters and maybe force Arum's hand. I could see that rematch at MW being a huge PPV success.

*I am assuming Cotto's arrangement with TR is like Mayweather's previous arrangement with GBP; he's a free agent but uses TR to promote his fights.

Cotto is not a true middleweight.
There are more than a few real MW fighters that would give him trouble.
A fight with Floyd or Alvarez means nothing because neither of them are middleweights.
