There is supposed to be a team how can a guy train himself and be at his very best? I just dont know, this kind of relationship cant possibly represent the very best situation for Miguel Cotto.

Despite there fallings out, I'm still convinced Miguel and Evangelista have a very good relationship.

I would worry if Evangelista goes whether Cotto would end up declining like Tyson once he got rid of Kevin Rooney. Sometimes a better relationship is more importantly than having a better trainer, especially to elite fighters that don't need that much improving.

Cotto trains himself, and that's the way he wants it. He won't listen to Evangelista's input anymore. There's a flipside to this. Cotto is too big for his trainer now. Right? Who knows, maybe he is.

I don't think Cotto trains himself ... every time he wins he embraces his uncle ... i'm sure he respects his uncle as a trainer ...

I'm sure when you have two grown men that have a disagreement - you're going to have "riffs" ... Evangelista probably sees Miguel as a 11 yr old kid.
