Cashing out, no... Getting paid what he deserves, yes. Cotto was going to fight Floyd or Pac, best options out for him. Pac wanted to take him back down to 147 where he didn't feel comfortable anymore, Floyd said he'd fight him at 154 where he wants to fight. I believe if Pac would have fought him at/around 154 he would have instead fought Pac to try and avenge his loss, but Pac said 147 or no fight.

Bang on the money that... team Pac man are a bunch of ****wits!

Cotto deserves this fight, he's earned the right to fight the best. Look at Cotto's resume - Margarito, Mayorga, Foreman, Clottey, Mosley, Judah, Quintana, Torres, Corley, Malignaggi, Bailey, Pinto, Ndou... that's a sick resume. There aren't many other fighters out there who have took such competition on a consistent basis. Looking at that list, non of those fighters were shot, no ****ing about with catch weights and all that bollocks. Cotto has been a blessing to the sport of boxing... every fight he's got in there and fought his bollocks off, and behaved professionally at all times.

This fight isn't about cashing out, this is about his legacy. Cotto knows he is near the end of his career. He's got nowhere else to go but to fight the best in the business, and that's exactly what he's doing. As for the fact the he's getting paid a shitload for it... good for him, I hope he lives happily ever after!

He was cashing out against pacquiao. He immediately regretted it afterwards, hence, his "new passion" for boxing. It was in the rican papers.
