    They're clearly Holyfield haters. Why do they keep granting him a license? He fought Botha there last year. Cotto is a healthy 30/31 year old. Foreman didn't beat him up. Mayorga didn't. He's rebounded well from the Pac and Margo beatings. The writer is making something out of nothing.

    They gave Holyfield a license to fight bums. Cotto wants to be P4P #1 again, he's eyeing rematches against Margo and Pacman.

    Exactly! Margarito took more punishment than Cotto did!

    Cotto would be well advised to box in the rematch with Margarito. If he sticks to boxing, double, triple jabs, hooks downstairs, he should Win comprehensively! Far & away, he is a more skilled fighter than Margarito!

    Its entirely plausible Cotto could be in worse shape than Margo or Holyfield. Cotto went into the Pac fight as already damaged goods and weight drained; which decreases the protective cushion around his brain. The beating he took against Pac was among the most brutal I have ever seen.

    How the hell do you know they know more than he does??? How the hell do you know he's not highly intelligent and maybe even a doctor or just better at estimating when a fighter's taken too much than those guys. What makes them the smartest in the world? Does Holyfield know better, too?

    The fact that they are pros and work for the commission doesn't make them Einsteins or give them any special knowledge that anyone watching fights on a regular basis doesn't have.

    I'd bet you there are degenerates on this site who've seen twice the number of fights Lennox or Manny have and followed many more careers.

    How the hell was he damaged goods. You people have this thinking by numbers way of reasoning, it's so sad. The fact that someone gets KOed, or even gets KOed three times in a row doesn't mean they're damaged goods.

    What the hell do you think gets damaged???

    They could lose their confidence sure, but was there any evidence of that with Cotto?

    Did he look noticeably slower?

    Don't be so goddamn dogmatic and use your head, if you have anything to use. Sadly some people don't have to suffer KOs to slur and stutter.

    The man's trainer, who actually works with him, said he lost his legs and can't beat the best anymore. I will trust him before some ******* or Cottard that simply can't except the man was/is damaged goods.

    And again, the commission guy decides who fights, not you or I.

    The way I see Margarito - Cotto 2 is

    70% Margarito TKO
    30% Cotto UD

    Sadly so, because I'd love to see Margarito's grin punched in. I'm afraid it's not gonna happen, though.
