Cotto is doomed. This isn't the same Cotto we've seen 3 years ago.

While there may be some truth in him fighting tougher guys like Margo and Clottey, it also seems true that he just isn't the fighter he was 3-4 yrs ago. He's definitely lost a little snap and speed.

I expected Cotto to destroy Mosely, and while he did clearly beat him it was not TOO impressive a performance. ie, I don't think it was the Margarito fight that shot him, but rather a career trajectory.

:thinkCould it be that Cotto may be getting older and changing his fight tactics. He can't knock people's heads off his whole career, therefore he had to work on his passive running tactics. But he did lock Clottey in that corner for a while.

    CARLES!! whassup!

Your right about the judge with the bogus score. He should be sent to guantanamo bay and eat a cockmeat sandwich for that.

How do you see a Pac-Cotto going down?

I think a cotto-berto fight would be nice for Cotto to get that full confidence. Hes been getting a lot of heat in his past few fights about Margo ruining him and him not being the same fighter anymore.

Some guys here are too optimist. Im a big cotto fan, but hey lets face the reality. Cotto lost a lot of confidence. Watch the first 3 round and you will see. He's less confident. Its a fact.

Sorry, but I don't buy this at all. It's all about the toughness of the fighter he's in with. Has nothing to do with him slipping. Go way back to 2004 and watch the last several rounds against Lovemore Ndou and you'll see him on his bicycle and barely pulling out a decision. Then the next year (2005) he "runs" from Mohamad Abdulaev for the entire fight. Cotto is not the monster he's been made to be. He has a bit of "give" in his game if you are tough/talented enough to bring him to that point like Margarito and Mosley were. Cotto would back up against Clottey 10 times out of 10 or he would end up losing. He does it because he judges that it's his best opportunity for victory.

I'm good bro. Yeah I don't know what fight that judge was watching, seriously... About the possible Pac-Cotto fight, sounds a very promising fight. Cotto has the size advantage and if he catches Pac with some decent power-combo, he could easily get a knockout victory. The thing is, Pac is becoming a monster-fighter and has proved he can deal with bigger guys. But I'm not sure that he could hurt Cotto or if he can deal with success vs welterweights in general.

I agree that a Berto-Cotto fight would answer a lot of questions for both guys. Cotto has to show that he hasn't deteriorated the way some people think and Berto has to show that he can put up with world-class fighters.

I can tell you guys this, if Cotto gets caught with the punch that put ricky hatton down it will be a short night. That punch pac threw would have KO'd a horse.

that's because CLOTTEY isnt an easy opponent. Their skills are on the same level..
it's like PAC vs MARQUEZ.. Both guys looked good in their other opponents but with each other they completely looked bad.

He doesn't seem to react too well to getting cut either. I've seen guys with worse cuts not seem so bothered by it.

Anyway, he just doesn't seem like the same fighter as before the Margarito fight.

This is true. However, he hadn't been cut in many of his previous fights, so for me it's understandable that he isn't used to getting those kind of cuts.

Yes, he seems to have lost the "spark". But I want to see him in another big fight to be sure of that. On the other hand, it could just be that he chooses to fight that way when fighting vs a certain style (choosing not to fight aggressively).
