    a) He turned down a fight with Margo ($ 8 million) for the WBOgus belt to fight Baldomir, who had the Ring/WBC belt and a better resume than Margarito. And Mayweather also won 8 million in that fight.

    b) You can't deny that a lot of people wanted to see the De la Hoya fight at 154. It was Mayweather's 5th division! By the way, Arum refused a Cotto-Mayweather fight in 2005. So Arum is the one that thought that Cotto "wasn't good enough". :deal

Its true Shane did defer to the Fraid-DLH money fight. . .but he said all along that he would fight him right after.

But then we have Collazo. Hatton really struggles with him in his only fight at 147 and Shane utterly schools Collazo - Fraud saw this and saw Hatton as his path of least resistance at 147.

Correction: Margarito is a B-level fighter who can gives nightmares to anyone. DLH WAS a A-level. Hatton is a B-level at 140lbs and a POS at 147lbs

Another Joy BOY circle jerk eh??

    30, Casamayor, 35 Spadafora, 40 Tszyu, 47?? Take ur pick:D

SSM? Please tell me that Shanes promoter WHO is? DLH!! Had no influence on any negoitiation between Floyd and Shane WHILE NEGOITIATING to fight Floyd himself??:huh Conflict of interest???

Cotto has beaten better opposition at 147 and is making the CASE as the real Champion. If he beats Margarito? Then PBF still stalls, retires, or fights Hatton?:rofl Its all over ladies and gentlemen.

Floyd's BS will come crashing down hard. Its already rather evident but the INTERSECTION is directly ahead. We'll find out just what Floyd's really made of:good

    :lol::lol:

Oscar did it all himself? Right...

Just like Hatton did 1.4 Million in the UK alone but yet never even got half of that in his entire career. Yet he fights Mayweather. All Hatton.

Just like when Hatton couldn't sell out fights in America, yet Hatton does 850,000 PPV buys in the USA?

Why did Vargas-DLH not even come close? Oscar was at his prime and Vargas as well, a great rivalry, yet not even close. Keep spitting your mouth. You're a brainless dumbass.

Tell me mr c money, how the **** does Mayweather fight Zoo who fights FOR SHOWTIME? Mayweather had never been on PPV before yet they are just going to do a joint broadcast for him?

By the same token, PBF was averaging 350+k buys before DLH and you want us to beleive that all of sudden he became such a huge hit, even after that terrible performance against Baldo:bart

DLH/PBF has been described as the most heavily promoted fight in history that might just have something to do with those high numbers:deal

Not to mention the 24/7 program. Huge marketing tool!

PBF definitely brought some fans as well as some haters but the majority of people tuned in to watch the biggest boxing draw of the last 10 years trying to earn the title of the #1 fighter in the world , and that title just happened to belong to PBF, nothing more!

Most boxing fans LOVE to HATE Mayweather. They ordered the fights to see Mayweather lose.

Im definitly not saying that Mayweather did that extra million in the DLH fight himself, but it sure wasn't just Oscar.

Against Hatton, I feel Mayweather was a big factor considering he was coming off the DLH fight which boosted him big time. Promotion helped but I guarentee no other fighter right at this time could of helped do those big numbers besides Floyd.

Would someone like to tell me why he didn't fight Casamayor?

Legitimately. He's a good draw, loyal cuban/latino fanbase. Skilled up the wazoo and definitely worthy of Mayweather.

Also, for the love of god stop with this non-sense.

Mayweather fans, you claim he doesn't need to fight anyone. Yet YOU are his fans, yes? So wouldn't you LIKE to see him fight someone like Cotto? Wouldn't you LIKE to see him prove HIS best against the best of other Athletes in the top echelon of his own division?

Wouldn't you love to see Mayweather absolutely tear up the remainder of Welterweight and then move on to 154 and clean house there?

You have confidence in him, so he should be able to school Forrest, Verno and Alcine!

This is what i don't understand. When you TRULY are behind a fighter, you WANT to see him fight the best and become the best. IF he is already the best, you want to see him dominate as much as he can!

Put money aside. Okay yes he wants money which he already has more than enough of. Don't you have PRIDE in your favourite fighter?

Wouldn't you LOVE to watch him fight Cotto and embarass him right away, instead of saying "Naw, it's okay he will fight DLH and make 20 million so that's okay I don't want to see him beat the remaining welter champs."

I have alot of pride. WIN or lose, I want Miguel Cotto to shine against the top. He is doing so, and Mayweather HAS yes ***HAS*** done so in the past before the fame and the fortune. As a fan, he owes alot to you for making him so wealthy. It is YOUR loyalty that puts food on the table.

So money aside, he should take the toughest fights. The fights everybody want, to show his fans "I appreciate your support boys."

This is what Cotto is doing and while he may not compare to Mayweather in skill. I'll follow a great fighter with more heart than skill than the GREATEST fighter with more skill than heart.

 Did I say DUCK in this case, hmm??:nono I listed NAMES OF TOP OPPONENTS IN EVERY DIVISION THAT FLOYD DIDNT FACE.
Spare me Osiris your visons or interpretations. IMO Floyd has flat out ducked 2 fighters Spadafora and Margarito. Mayweather has been able to manipulate his career arond otthers like Tszyu.

Now u must not remember Floyd on Camera at somethingtalk around the Bruseles fight. Where Floyd SAID " I dont wanna fight Kostya yet, I want him to be a little OLDER so it can be the Young Lion vs The Old Lion, like Tszyu did to my Uncle Roger. Clearly Floyd was in no hurry to make the fight:nono

Team Hatton came with the high offer after Tszyu beat Mitchell the second time. Where Tszyu SAID "I want ONLY THE BIG FIGHTS, BIG MONEY, thats what I want. I see only a few more fights in my career"

HBO vs SHOWTIME? Lewis vs Tyson. All there has to be is the right desire and demand. Tszyu was the UNIFIED 140 Champ. If Floyd really wanted to be Champ? They make it.

Hatton did Floyd a favor and styles make fights. Tszyu was excellent vs technical boxers and had trouble with strong aggressive inside pressure like Hatton and Phillips.

Mayweather PPV?? C'mon floyd was hyped from the get and WELL KNOWN. You wanna be Champ? Hatton did, was, and Floyd WASNT.
WHO BEAT KOSTYA TSZYU???Hows them apples?:D

Give credit where its due after much ado BS and the usual offer schemes PBF did finally fight Hatton though at 147. Making 140 a precarious claim.

Void ran from Margarito and he is also running from Cotto. Void is a fake hero.
