Ortiz landed some nice shots. hatton. JMM(he did land some lol), Mosley. Oscar too. Mayweather is very touchable. PBF Looked good vs Ortiz but was getting tagged. I don't give a **** what anybody thinks but Ortiz was starting to come on and make it a great scrap. Cotto would KO ortiz within 6 easily.

Cotto right now is a better opp than any listed above. Cotto is still in his prime i believe and is coming to win with momentum on his side. Cant count a warrior like cotto out like that. Its sickening the way people are writing off cotto. ****er is tough as nails and mayweather doesn't have the power to put him away. Cotto looks great 154 and biggest fight in mayweather career. First time he has to look better than pacman!!:deal well second ( slaughtered JMM)

Mayweather will be sucked into a war. Cotto will make him fight.

    War Cotto

Cotto is not what he once was but he still has a chance early... If Cotto doesn't hurt Floyd early then Mayweather wins a UD!

If you're going to compare this fight to Mayweather/Ortiz then you're stupid. Mayweather didn't even take Ortiz seriously and it was clear in the first round, he was flat footed and opened up looking to slug. Why wouldn't he?, Ortiz was stiff as hell and overwhelmed/nervous. Cotto is NOT the same and Mayweather isn't stupid to overlook this.

    Not too bad, brother.

Yes, he stands a better chance, but I don't think for one minute he would actually beat Floyd Mayweather Jr. No version of Cotto is good enough.

I think the current Cotto is the best Cotto ever, but maybe that's just me. He boxes very well and he packs a lot of muscle at 154. Last fight he beat a guy he couldn't beat in his "prime" and even showed he "learned" how to clinch, he's even still improving. Stands a better chance than ever, even though I think he'll lose a UD with about 4 rounds of difference.

Still, I'm curious to see how Cotto loses against a non-pressure fighter, because I've never seen it. Everyone knows Cotto's weakness is he fights at a slow pace and if he's pressured he doesn't know what to do, specially if his opponnent is fast. Ricky Hatton would have been trouble for Cotto back in the days for this reason. Mayweather is also a slow-paced fighter, so I'm interested to see how the fight will play out.
