Cotto is going to look terrible @ 154. Foreman is a horrible style & will win easily.

Cotto is very good at cutting off the ring effectively...he showed that in his first outing at welterweight. he beat a very good and unbeaten Carlos Quintana.

With that said, Yuri Foreman is going to be a very tough opponent for anyone at 154. He is an irritating spoiler who isn't afraid to stink out the joint to win a fight.

If i had to pick a victor at this time, i would have to give the UD to Foreman...who knows if Cotto can be effective at 154.

Cotto may be small in height for the weight, but I think he is physically strong enough to be competitive at 154. It's not like Cotto is facing a monster at that weight. Foreman impressed me against Santos, but he's not the strongest guy or the hardest puncher. Collazo was able to outbox him in the amateurs. I wouldn't be surprised if Cotto wins, actually think he should be favorite. Cotto is an elite fighter. He has shown he can outbox a tall rangy opponent in Margo, and a good fast boxer in Mosley, who also had way a longer reach, and both posed more of a threat than Foreman will.

The size difference should make it interesting but I'm totally unimpressed by Foreman & think he would lose.

Actually I'm with you, though I think Cotto should take a tune up fight first to see how he does at 154, I really think he will beat Foreman.

I honestly don't think Miguel Cotto cares much about this. I think he is just cashing out on the fame he created at the beggining of his career before retiring, but that is just my opinion.
