Cotto is going to look terrible @ 154. Foreman is a horrible style & will win easily.

I was at the Garden last saturday and saw Cotto, Foreman and Tito all in the ring together. The size difference is laughable. Awful fight for Cotto, Cotto's team should've chased a Hatton fight

 

Cotto probably should stay at welteweight unless he's having trouble making weight. And Foreman is a bad style match up and he isn't too bad of a fighter. Then there is the question of what Cotto has left after those tough fights with Margarito, Clottey, and Pacquaio. But, Cotto is on a different level than Foreman. I think Foreman wins some rounds and Cotto will look less than spetacular but in the end Cotto wins a competitive decision. I would rather see Cotto stay at 147 and look to face some of those guys or even someone moving up from 140.

 

I think this is a very winnable fight for Cotto, Foreman is solid but lets also note the well aged Santos was able to dish out some of his own **** on Yuri, I think Cotto will break him down to the body, I think the move up in weight will also help Miguel more than hurt him.

 

Agreed, I think it'll be a tough fight for Cotto for the first few rounds, but eventually he will figure him out and get on the inside. Cotto on the inside will tear Formans ribs apart

 

foreman has a very under rated jab IMO and quick on his feet. i think cotto will find it difficult to get on the inside... im actually lookin forward to this matchup:thumbsup

 

I don't think Cotto is going to have a hard time with Foreman. I seen him fight a couple of times and he has the style for Cotto to beat. I won't be surprised if Cotto beats him the same way he beat Jennings when he came back from his first lost to Margarito which we all know was not a legitimate lost because Margarito had his hands wrapped illegally.

 

I watched Yuri Foreman "grow-up" on ESPN and Versus. I place him on about the same level as Delvin Rodrigez and Sergio Mora. He's good fighter who will never be truly world class.

I also watched every Cotto fight since Malinaggi. A kid who took Judah's best shots, and came roaring back to win, will not get blasted out by Yuri ****ing Foreman. The idea is ludicrous.

If Cotto remembers that he has a good jab, and uses it appropriately, this fight will be slightly more competetive than Cotto/Jennings. Foreman has never faced anyone who can close the gap and go to the body like Cotto does.

 

Cotto gotta go to the body early or it'll be curtains for him.

Trying to outbox Cotto is suicide. To beat him you need pressure and volume. The ones that tried to outbox Cotto after throwing a jab were eating left hooks in return and thinking twice on their next move. Cotto WILL beat Foreman.

 

Cotto has fought at a far higher level and has only lost 2,i think he will have too much for Foreman.Im not sure he is suited to the weight but i think he wins this fight.

I only saw Foreman against an ugly, washed out version of Santos. And i was far from impressed. Very flawed technique, he relies only ring mouvement but he moves awkwardly. He is a fringe contender looker for is 5 minutes of glory before is big payday and i dont think Cotto, even now, would give it to him.

 

who knows, it might be good for him.

 

have you mother****ers lost your minds Santos didnt even show up tried to dial it in and got beat by a fundamentally sound guy who rose to the occasion. Did you see Santos's fat gut hanging under his boxing trunks. Yuri is a good boxer who caught Santos out there but Cotto is a whole other class of opponent..He will probably be stronger at 154. I see him beating Yuris ass easily. What has Yuri got to stop Cotto? guy is a light hitter and is not the most talented guy around look for Yuri to get ****ing hammered.
