Oscar and Bernard are gonna be holding each other's wang trying to console each other because their superstar was battered to a TKO loss

For me Miguel is a sentimental favorite. Canello , in my opinion doesn't fight with heart. Nor does he ever fight with a tactical strategy and plan. He's a heavy handed plodder with grade school skills.

He will out weigh Miguel and try to wear him down with the same old stuff he does in every fight. A fighter with skills and Heart will always beat a fighter with minimal skills and no plan. Ever time!

Why do I get the distinct feeling the only reason you feel this way is because Cotto is with Roach, and Cotto got KO'd by Pacquiao, and Canelo lost wide to Floyd? So this would diminish one of Floyd's best wins and make Pacquiao look like even more of a beast:think

Sorry not happening. Not unless Canelo has injured knees.

Not at all. I'm not a fan of Cotto, but Canelo has known stamina issues and he hasn't had to deal with hard combinations. Cotto will blast his body early and the power of cotto's left hook will shake Canelo to the core.

Cotto should win but I don't think it will end by knockout. It could, but not as likely as this going 12 rounds. Miguel has the style and qualities that should mitigate the risk of losing to the younger Alvarez.

Cotto has very well known stamina issues as well. It took 9 rounds for Cotto to "stop" Martinez who had 1 leg and a chin that had been weakened by years of wars and was a sitting duck yet Cotto couldn't legitimately stop him, his new found devastating Roach fueled power is being vastly overrated, also Cotto won't stand around long enough to land combos on Canelo.

I really just hope this ends in a knock out.

We all would like to see a knockout but these two are very seasoned and durable. It will ultimately come down to styles which Miguel holds a significant advantage over Nelo. There might be some KDs in route to a 12 round decision but I don't see this fight ending with a KO.
