In the article, just a brief summary. Cotto states that he is happy to be back in the gym; he was doing light work but now the hard part begins. Also states he is eager to fight Margarito again, win or loose Margarito; Cotto wants him again.

Also, indicating that he is quiet because he doesnt like too much attention on him. States that he wants to be a normal person and thats why he doesnt like to draw attention with outrageous comments or excuses from loosing to Margarito.

Miguel also stated that he plans on not only regaining his status at 147 but surpass what the initial expectations were. Miguel says that he feels excited and cannot wait to start fighting again.

Other than that.....HMM... he is pretty heavy but the fight is about 8 weeks away so he will get down to weight.

I like his humbleness and the fact that he made no excuses. When Pavlik lost, he blamed everyone... Cotto didnt.

He does look a little thicker than we're used to seeing him. Pale as well.

Cotto's face hasn't always looked slim and he's hitting the bag and its not showing his whole body.

I'm sure come fightnight ... Cotto will look trim and fitter than he looks from that head shot.

    Cotto's the man!

No excuses, wants get straight back in to it, doesn't want the attention just to fight. Great attitude.

Jennings is unknown in America but he's a solid European level fighter, he's beaten the current European champion at Welterweight 80-73 in an 8 rounder.
He's also clearly beaten(winning every round despite what the judges gave) former WBO Light-Middleweight title challenger Medrud Takaloo. Although Takaloo was a little past his best by then.

Unfortunately for Jennings his power and chin are very much British level with the rest of his qualities bringing him up to European, he's a good solid technical boxer but he'll be way out of his depth here. Cotto should put him away within 5.

Basically what I'm saying here is with the type of loss Cotto has suffered this is a reasonable opponent.
