If he get's past Clottey and meets Pac at a catchweight and gets past Pac, Mayweather will either have to fight Cotto or retire again, there will be no place to run for Mayweather he will have to finally face Cotto, and Cotto beats Mayweather on points for sure, then we are left with a rematch between Cotto and Mosley (Cotto UD) then Cotto can damn near retire as one of the greats of the sport.

yep, same way i see it

Cotto has a string of obstacles, but if he makes it past them, that P4P throne is waiting for him....they will be some hard fights, but i think he can do it, specially with a new trainer

Cotto and Arum have never offered Floyd a fight in the first place.

The one time a fight was attempted it was shot down by Arum.

he retired b4 a fight could even be offered, but aside from that, why would you put a green fighter in with a guy at his peak? Floyd offered him a fight when he was having weight issues and was completely green, he hasn't done it since he moved up to 147 has he? nah

and besides, Arum already said that the winner of Pac-Cotto will go on to face Floyd in 2010, he says thats the outcome he wants to make happen

You act like they moved up to 147 at the same time.

Floyd Mayweather stated before the Hatton fight he wanted time off from boxing after the fight.

Cotto had yet to even fight Mosley at this time.

just like he said he retired after the DLH fight? those "vacations" of his are just used to duck the fighters he dont want no part of, he just wants them all to take each other out, so he can come back, fight a low-risk fight, get paid big money, then take another "vacation"

but i dont wanna sit up here and talk about Floyd in this thread, cuzz theres enough threads about that, so i'll end it at that

Clottey & Marquez have nothing to lose, They are going all out.
(Cotto & Mayweather need to watch themself & not think --------->)

That said.. Miguel defo has some great fight potential coming up should he stay winning.
A victory over Clottey secures his fight w/Pacquaio.

I'll stop the if's there, but **** Mosley is out there, JMM/Mayweather winner..
(& don't tell Cotto, But Margarito could be back in a year)

Cotto has a slim chance against Floyd and Pacquiao would probably beat him on points.

    This Cotto love-fest is sickening.

After Clottey beats his ****in ass, everyone's gonna start feeling sorry for him again. He'll go off into hiding once more, then come out and fight Michael Jennings for some vacant belt.

After Floyd beats JMM, he will fight Pac. Period. Quit dreamin' Monstar.

And Asian Wannabe Thug. You're a pathetic *****. Only a ****in born loser would start a thread like this.
