if berto fights ortiz and wins well i think he would be the best option money wise as its easier to promote.

personally i want ortiz to smash him up so berto can start fighting like a legit fighter rather than always taking the easy way out.

cotto needs to avenge his loss aginst pacquiao not margarito.

How do you figure? Mayweather only fights guys coming off good performances. Are you sure you're not mistaking May for Pac? :huh

NWhy on earth would anyone want to see a pacma/cotto fight again? It'll be the same **** maybe worse.

Should be an interesting fight on paper but for some reason its not grabbing me, floyd will always be too fast for cotto but if floyd wont fight pac i guess at least its a good fight

I think he just needs to focus on Margo. If he gets past the Margo that fought Pac...at 154 Cotto will have to leave the best of himself in that ring to beat Margo.

Oh man, Cotto back then was at his best, and it would have been awesome to see him have a go at Mayweather.

Yup right after the Mosley fight for Cotto and the Hatton fight for PBF ...it would have been epic.

Tough isn't even the word. Margo, Pacman and Clottey fights were brutal displays of boxing.

I wouldn't mind the fight, but Mayweather would school him. Cotto-Berto would be a better fight, with the obvious Mayweather-Pacquiao.

you see cotto now has had time out of boxing, he has recovered mentally and physically from his fights against margarito and pacquiao. in the 1st fight he was mentally not right because the margarito loss was still in his head, physically he was ****ed because he had to drain himself to get to 145.

now he is with a better coach with experience who will have the ability to understand him because he's been in the business for 30 years. he can assure cotto and tell him what to do wheras his previous trainer had little experience and let cotto do as he pleased.

if steward takes cotto into the fight with a gameplan of outboxing pacquiao which isn't hard to do as marquez and morales showed then he can have success. if manny gets on the inside he needs to let them body shots go rather than go head hunting like the first fight.

cotto has all the skills to beat pacquiao, he just applied them in the wrong way for the first fight. with manny steward in his corner he will not make the same mistake again.

I don't understand...Why would Cotto want an enormous paycheck like that against a guy that probably won't even stop him? This news comes as a big surprise to me.

i want to see how all of the floyd haters will be giving lame excuses after floyd destroys this chump, he had nothing left, he was past his prime and bla bla bla
