May shape up to be an interesting fight. Seeing that cotto is very confident and dismissive at every critic who has already writing him off. Cotto believes that his hard work in training will bring him to victory and goes as far as that he trained for speed hand and feet to match floyd's and his already stronger punch. Working on cutting corners and etc.

Seeing the weigh in as a lean cotto led me to believe that his training went very well and his body is shaped to last for 12 rounds.

    Confidence schmofidence.

That **** is overrated. You can be as confident as you want, but it never compensates for your punches not reaching the target before you catch a fast one to the chin.

Floyd is a technical fighter. A thinking strategist. Miguel will be so confused in there, he will revert back to shining the top of his own head.

Then interesting aspect in this fight is that Mayweather hasn't faced anyone on Cotto's level for a long time. His opponents the last few years have been either green, old or small. I still think he will win, but he might have to fight hard to do it. And I'd just love it if Miguel Cotto was the one to end his streak.

May's punches will not hurt Cotto, and Cotto knows it... hence his confidence. May looks brittle and ashy.

i think its all talk, but, i hope im wrong. may too fast, and intelligent for cotto. cotto has a hard time adapting when pressured like in the pac fight. floyd gonna steamroll him i think

margarito fight showed how past it he is and margarito is shot

Cotto has absolutely no fear of Floyd. I don't think he will be gun shy in there.

I can remember years and years ago when everyone liked to talk **** about Floyd and say that he was running scared from Cotto and that he didn't want to fight him. Now no one is giving that same guy a chance. Kinda hard to believe he's slipped that far. I think all you have to do is understand that Floyd's hardest nights came against Castillo and Hatton and that Cotto can dupplicate the kinda of pressure both those men successfully put on Floyd. That was his old style and it is how he is going to fight this fight. He might not have enough to win but in most people's mind's he far more of an underdog then he really should be.

if they young he is picking on young boys, if they are older then its old men.around his age there are passed it or nothing left. it dont matter the age group its always a damn problem.which tells who the man really is in boxing.
