Well, let me put it this way. When I was young ( 8-13 ) I've always had guns in my room. I had a rifle that had a scope and a suppressor. It was hung above my study table. At the end of my bed I had an M16 (YES a full auto M16 ) stored inside a footlocker and had **** loads of ammunitions and magazines. There was also a Colt .45 pistol inside with magazines and ammo. **** when I was 8 my dad gave me a .22 pistol (Smith and Wesson Model 79G ) That was my favorite pistol at the time. You know when you were a kid, you always wake up early to play with your toys? Well I shoot @ 5 in the morning. I always wake up my dad's bodyguard to help me setup the paper targets in the yard! Mom always gave me a beatdown everytime she see me shooting without my dad! I am sorry if you felt insulted. But given that with your boxing background, you know there is always a chance for another boxer to beat a better boxer. Nevermind. I was 6 when my dad gave me that pistol as a gift. Called and asked my mom about it LOL!
its not over power him, its just the ref wont let Cotto take all those punches. if Clottey can land 222 with barley throwing, then Pac is gonna have a feild day. If Cotto wins it has to be KO, hes not outboxing Pacquiao for 12 rounds
Apology accepted bo. You phillo's are gun crazy man. I had a phillipino mentor that used to have more handguns than you could count and was at the range every other day. His daughter was sexy as hell but she was handy with the pistols as well so I stayed well away. I do understand that any fighter can win on any given day. I understand it as well as most. That is why I get angry when people start threads that pac is gonna knock out a dangerous WW that hasnt really ever been stopped, and do it easily. That **** is ridiculous. I believe pac can win a decision, but I find it more likely that cotto will stop manny before the final bell. Thats my pic and it could change as we get closer to the fight.
These are my 2 favourite fighters at the moment, but I can see Pac cutting cotto to shreds with his speed and movement. I like to see Cotto get a new trainer first and have a quick tune up b4 this fight.
Glad to see Pac-fans are so confident that he's brought his spped, power and everything else to higher weights so if Cotto wins, there will be NO DOUBT/EXCUSES as to who the best P4P is....... RIGHT???:hey :good
We already know pac can carry his spead and power up to 145. Its his ability to take a decent shot from a propper WW that has a question mark next to it.
cotto had a poor showing in his last fight but hatton also had a poor showing against pac. so things can be deceiving. I think cotto power can sting pac gunshy like what marquez did with his counters. cotto dosen't always do whats expected, hell put up a defense against pacs smoothering and pop pac unexpectedly. for the middle rounds to slowdown. I see cotto getting in good position during the middle rounds and hopfully score enough to win but he will have to win a few of the later rounds which i think pac has a better chance to take. the first rounds favor pacs style.
With all due respect to Shifty107. This is what I don't get. A lot of people lately are advocating that it is bad for a fighter to go down below his usual fighting weight. That he won't be competitive and that he would be a walking zombie in the ring. If such condition is well known to boxers and boxing fans, how come a lot of people never considered the weight drain issue before the Dela Hoya-Pacquiao fight despite the well known fact then that he is old and that he hasn't fought in that weight for years prior to the said fight. But now, almost everyone is harping the weight drain issue on a young boxer who is just asked to go down 1 pound from his recent weigh-in weight.:huh:huh:huh
Im not dwelling on the weight drain issue. All I was saying was thatI picked Oscar due to him beeing a skilled bigger man. I didn't know until the fight started the effect that that had on him. I personally thought that he could have made weight and made the fight more competitve but history tells us this was not the case. I am also not dwelling on the catchweight of 145lb's if the fight is to take place. I feel this is a fair weight for both fighters seeing as though pac fought oscar at 145 and it is only 2lb's down from cotto's usual weigh in. I do however have a problem with catchweights. They just bug me. Put on an extra 2lb's and lets fight for a tittle pac. DAMN!
He's my fave boxer... simply marvelous. If you ask the meaning of domination of a division, he is one.:good The lady... she's chinese.
