Pacquiao has to keep his hands up now because he can't bob and weave as effectively as he used to, more composure yes, nothing special. Pacquiao has already been knocked out early in his career, look it up.
I've watched it carefully once again, Cotto is not the fluid shooter, the defensive wizard or the creative strategian to beat a fighter as hot, wild and commited as Pac... Cotto had a very careful approach against Clottey, got cut badly and came on all hell's breaking loose at the sixth, then he backed off - he won that fight on guts, physical strength and experience... Pac was in front row with Bob Arum in MSG and I'm sure he's more than willing to breakthrough with a flashy, accurate bomb as Cotto carefully ( slowly-mechanically) sets his position to lead first... It should be written already: Cotto reaches the Twilight/Duel of his career and if he comes out as the loser in this uneven contest, his career will be a little bit less than dead.
I think everybody is underestimating cotto cuz of his last performance. Cotto is still dangerous but i can see why most people would pick pacquiao. He is faster and has power to hurt cotto. Either way i think it will be a tough fight for pacman cuz cotto will be aggressive and will try to knock him out.
When was the last time Manny had a challenge? Marquez Its not Pacs Fault that all his opponents fold easily.
Pav vs cotto will equal pac vs Diaz?!?!?!?! I'll go on record and perdict that this is one of the most naïve statements I've ever read on this site. I've become more and more dissapointed with the quality of knowledgeble boxing fans on this site. Its almost sacrilegious to preach such utter **** to real boxing scribes.
There is no such thing as fighting like a southpaw, you're describing Winky wright's style of fighting as being the blueprint to follow as a southpaw. Corley, Spinks, Tarver, Judah, Chris Byrd, Calzaghe. they are all succesful southpaws that have different styles, southpaw just means inverted.
What? I don't comprehend your logic?? Seriously are asking for my prediction? I predicted a UD for Manny I guess I was slightly wrong. I still don't get your point in regards to my initial post.
