We were talking about pacs improvement that your saying he is open but nobody could knock him out. Then u talk about fights ages ago to prove ur point. Get it?

I was correcting you, Pacquiao did get knocked out. Any way all Pac has on Cotto is speed, his footwork is swift but he just doesn't move intelligently. I respect Pac a lot just for having the balls to pursue that fight even though I don't believe he can win it.

Clottey has a very good defense but offensively sucked. He even got Cotto at some points. Just because they are bigger than what Pacquiao used to fight @ 106-130 doesn't mean those guys Pacquiao fought are not dangerous. They are dangerous at their own weight class. Pacquiao beat them and moved up. So who's more dangerous now?

Mosley is slow as hell nowadays but still is dangerous. Cotto beat him because he is not the old Mosley that we used to know.

Everytime Pacquiao beats a guy, those guys get branded as old, washed up, weight drained. Before the fight, people would say those same guys would destroy the small Pacquiao

Cotto is nowhere as fast as Pacquiao. Cotto is slow and not as fast when he was @ 140. I guess that move up to welterweight slowed him down. Cotto's been knocked down by slower, weaker fighters. Pacquiao is in a whole different level.

Mosley didn't have that speed he used to have when he was considrered #1 pound 4 pound.

That was when he was @ LIGHTWEIGHT! way back in 1999. It's been ten ****ing years already. Man got old already.

I like this one. Pacquiao got beat by those two unknown guys when he was younger and still inexperienced. So what? Did Barrera and Marquez, Lucero, Solis, Larios and those skilled and great mexican boxers beat Pacquiao? NO. Morales won a fight and lost the second by KO and the third one was embarrassing. Please don't say Morales was faded as soon as he started losing because that is just plain stupid. Cotto won't be doing all those things you said because Pacquiao will be controlling the fight. Do you seriously think that Pacquiao will just stand there to get punched by Cotto? I don't think so. You already assume that Pacquiao can't take Cotto's punches. Proof? None. Pacquiao has more arsenal and Cotto will look like what happened on the 12th round of the Margarito fight in RD4 when he faces Pacquiao.

And what knowledge can you offer? Cotto will steamroll Pacquiao because he's smaller? A lot of people said that when he fought Hatton and look what happened. A lot of people like you who act like they are the epiphany of boxing ended up looking like jackasses that night.

The fight is compelling because both guys will be facing the best opposition that they have ever faced. The 145 catch weight adds to the intrigue imo.

Shut the fuk up donkey. Glassy chin? What the fuk are you talkin about? All this rubbish about cotto and his glass chin is fukin old and hold no water whatsover. He has never been knocked out (dropped yes, at 140, but he then got up and proceded to put a beat down on the opponent). The only time he was stopped was because of the amount of punishment he was taking. No one on this board would take that kind of punishment (from someone with possibly loaded gloves) for as long as cotto did without takin a knee. And yes I do believe margo's gloves were loaded because of the damage to cottos face. I mean his **** was a mess.

To continue, mosley didnt even shake him, the man that dropped margo like a bad habit, and clottey couldnt shake him either. There is absolutely no problem with his chin. So everybody STFU already about it.

His only problem is his lack of defense and head movement when things havent been going his way in the last two fights. Against mosley his headmovement and footwork, as well as his parrying of punches was beautiful. Yeah mosley landed but no nearly as much as a fighter with that kind of spead and ring intelligence should. In the first half of the margo fight, again, cotto was boxing and moving brilliantly. It was only once he started to tire and realise he couldnt hurt margo that he started to get caught more and more. And against clottey, who has very underated speed and skill, cotto was working well behind the jab, and his defense was a bit over average, untill he sustained that nice little cut.

Anyone that thinks pac is gonna blow cotto out of the water is out of there fukin minds. Cotto is a strong, intelligent and dangerouse WW for WW's. To think that a blown up Lightweight or even JWW is gonna move up and knock him out is just bull****. Cotto is no weight drained, way past prime delahoya, who looks like **** against lefties even in his prime. Nor is he a damaged, never been that great, wide open ricky hatton who also has a history of looking **** against lefties.

I hope a lot of people put there houses on Pac-Man. That just means the odds for cotto will be much better come fight night. :hi:

exactly my point? many are talking about Cottos defense and chin... JMM who is known to take shots and got drop a few times and still some thought he won... not taking anything away from Manny... but Cotto is different and I hope he doesnt think is going to be a walkover... Some have had Cotto hurt, but never tend to finish... They respect his power and presence in the ring... I just don't see why so manny are saying Manny is going to take out Cotto in less than 6... Theres a big list that tried and failed with the exception of Margarito and that was on how many blows to the head and body and swallowing blood, he almost went the distance... So why are people underestimating Cottos chance of victory? Is it because of his last performance?:good

No. I do think that Pac is the better boxer. That doesn't mean that cotto is rubbish though. U need to get ur head out of ur ass and realise that. Yes pac is a great fighter. But cotto is also a great fighter with great heart and will. You don't just steam roll someone like that. And now with the win over clottey, I think he will have gained some confidence and be a dangerous cat for pac to play with. I think pac is the better boxer, but I think cotto stops him in 10!

    You can also say,,

The pre-fight. IT's logical to say..

    Hatton can take Pac's power
    Pac can't take Hatton's power

    Look what happened?!

Speed KILLS amigo! Wether in the highway or on the ring!

JMM was drop how many times and still people thought he won? Manny doesnt move like a Mayweather or Whitaker... why are people making it seem like hes a great moving boxer... he gets hit and is going against one of the best ring cutters and perhaps one of the most underestimated fighters when it comes to adapting throughout the fight... No way Manny is he going to KO Cotto...

Of course he gets hit. It's boxing. Getting hit cleanly is a different story. I believe there was a time that Clottey hit Cotto clean and his knees felt a little shaky coming from a punch from a guy who is not known to have a one punch KO.
