He proved it on Saturday, without a doubt. I thought he was overhyped based on what he'd actually done, another HBO hype job that was predicated more on marketability than actual accomplishments, and the way his career had been managed he was headed down the path of other HBO hype jobs ala Jermain Taylor, but he proved he was worthy of the accolades. Mosley might not be what he once was but is still an excellent fighter, so all due credit to Cotto for proving his skill and ability (toughness and heart were not in question) :!:
Even though I had Mosley winning closely I do know say something about Cotto I didnt before and that he is a great fighter. In his only fight vs a great even though he lost IMO he but up a great account of himself and battered Shane Mosley more then anyone ever has.
Cotto only did any actual running in the last 45 seconds of the fight. I stopped reading after your'e first line.
If he was overrated(as I also started to think he was) he would've have given Shane a close tough fight and come out victorious.
