No way does Dibella let Berto fight him. He is going to milk that cow (Berto) untill there is no more milk to get.

I highly doubt Cotto will be fighting either one of these guys in February. Much respect if either of these fights do come off though.

I don't care what Cotto does until he fights Margarito again.

I don't care what Margarito does until he fights Williams again.

I also do not think a Cotto/Margarito rematch would be any different.

    Margarito wins again by quittage.

Honestly, I will be surprised if they let Berto fight Cotto. I mean, Berto is just too green at this point to throw him to the lions den. For the rematch in the horizon, I feel that Cotto should fight Clottley better. I believe that Clottley being a big WW with iron chin and stamina plus good defense will be a much better preparation for Cotto to fight Margo later on than if we put him against Berto.

Plus, a great win over Clottley will be a lot more respectable than a win over Berto since he is too green. At least in my eyes...

Well Berto is taking on Collazo, so that's out. I guess that means Cotto will be fighting Clottey in February.

Be careful people. Showing too much love for a fighter is the incentive for haters to put down fighters. Anyways, I think Clottey is the best opponent for Cotto if he's going to rematch Margarito in the summer of 09.

    Hell yeah !!!

I'd like for him to fight Clotty so that he can take his belt so then when he and AM meet again it will be for unification ! And I'd like to have Paul Williams get a crack at Berto ..Then if alll goes well we could see PW VS the winner of the Cotto /Maragarito rematch for the undisputed welter weight title ..The funny thing is the last person to be undisputed was of all people Zab Judah if im not mistaken !

Williams said he was more than willing to fight Clottey. At that point, it's up to the promoters to get the fight signed. I can't blame Williams for the fight not getting made. Furthermore, Williams' Nov. 29 date is on BAD. The budget is not big enough for a unification bout.

Also, Clottey is allegedy still not able to fully train and won't be able to until Nov.(How can he fight Williams with less than a month train?). Another thing, even before the Forbes fight DiBella said that Berto would take on Collazo after Forbes. If Arum was deciding between Clottey and Berto for Cotto, that would mean Berto would have been out of the running weeks ago considering he was commited to fight Collazo. If Clottey was the only choice left, how could he fight Williams at the end of Nov if Arum really wants him to fight Cotto in Feb?
