I know gomez was out of his depth etc, but I have seen a few of cotto`s fights and he really is impressive.
His timing is excellent and the pressure he puts on his opponents he jusy keeps coming, I would love to see him fight mayweather but Its noticeable how quiet that camp is and there is no calling out for cotto.
Wise move I say, the guys a class operator at one stage in the fight against gomez I think he actually started to feel for the guy, he backed off to the ropes and jabbed from distance.
I fear we may never see a cotto mayweather fight, because its a fight to close for mayweather`s liking, and im afraid cotto with each great performance he posts the less chance we have of seeing a truly great fight.
What opponent would you love to see face miguel cotto next??
Talk is of hatton possibly after his next fight.
What do you think, who would be best match up

I heard Cotto say he would fight Hatton in a interview he did the other day, but Hatton will avoid Cotto like the plague.

Cotto - Hatton would b NICE!!! Ricky can have some moments with his speed and roughhouse tactics, but I think Cotto will stop him.

Its a mouthwatering prospect though because hatton comes to fight, and cotto comes to fight!
It would be a tear up for as long as it lasted and would be an entertaining fight though after watching cotto my god that guy can fight.

As he should. Ricky needs to stay at 140

Cotto was interviewed on The Fight Channel on Wednesday and they asked him on how a Hatton vs Cotto fight would play out and said he would fight Hatton and their styles would make a very good fight.

But Team Hatton would never have the balls to put Hatton in with Cotto, they wouldnt at 140 and sure in hell they wont offer Hatton at 147.

I hope your right about it happening!
Though I suspect the latest ridiculous big show fight in the wrestling says all you need to know about floyd he is already lining up what hes going to do next after a dlh fight
Money mayweather the latest wrestler to join wwe???
    Ohh god i hope not
We need flloyd and cotto to fight, boxing needs that fight.

Hatton vs Cotto would probably be just about the same as Hatton vs Mayweather, but the Mayweather fight does need to take place and if it doesnt in 2009, then what the ****.. but after the Margarito fight up until the Mayweather fight, I'd say he should fight someone like Paul Williams or maybe even a rematch with Paulie.. I dunno, Cotto's running out of opponents...

Wow maybe cottos stock is rising i mean your girlfriend knows who he is now thats big! minee couldnt name you one lol
money is the ONLY factor that will tempt floyd to fight cotto I beleive that, I hope it happens but i have to say the longer it doesnt and the more cotto wins and looks good doing it, im not so sure:-(

nice! THe guy seems really chilled very cool in and out of the ring, he is all business in the ring but does it with so much time the guy oozes class
I swear to god he hardly wastes a punch what his econemy is I dont know but he lands a large percentage of punches he throws.

When are you going to post the pics?

honestly If I was Bob Arum, Pushing for a Hatton fight wouldn't be a bad Idea. Cus Floyd would beat DLH and Cotto would slaughter Hatton, it would just make the Cotto vs Floyd fight sooner and also **** Floyd off because he'd lose a lot of money. But then again looks like we're going to get Cotto vs Margarito

Cotto v margarito is looking likely, and to be honest thats not a bad fight at all.
Margarito looked good against cintron, however cintron lacked any ideas once he got tagged margarito couldnt miss, and also margarito`s chin impressed me because cintron did land some really hard shots and margarito just shook them off and kept coming.
this match up is a good one and will no doubt be a very exciting fight but its always going to be second best in terms of hype to what a mayweather fight would create, and thats a shame because at any other time margarito v cotto would be really big fight!

And its the best physical shape ive seen cotto in for some time, he looked strong and fresh!
    Very impressive!
Gomez`s corner were awful did you hear them say when the doctor said no more " one more round" this isnt the contender guys this is the real deal!
Who needs guys in the corner like them:-(
