Thats not how it works - if you lose belt on scales your opponent can still claim it via win. The guy who made weight is technically at a disadvantage even. Thats how it is, and how it should be.

    For pennies? :rofl:lol:

Cotto has not proved anything at 160, other than that he can beat a 40yr old with one leg.

Cotto declined his cash out vs Canelo so... :conf

It's funny that Cotto is telling people to get off his sack and they just can't seem to...

Exactly. $10.5 million plus a share of receipts against Canelo and he wasn't interested.

Golovkin is the best legacy fight, and he doesn't want it. Canelo is the biggest purse, and he doesn't want it.

I see no reason that fight can't still happen.

Yes, it's one of the biggest fights out there for both Cotto and Canelo. Floyd vs Pacquiao shows that if it makes $$$ then it could still happen.

look at this idiot trying to defend cotto.you know golovkin would murder cotto that's why you want to cash out against an easier opponent. cotto hasn't proven anything at middleweight except that he's a ducker.:deal

Don't think I could ever call Cotto a ducker. His resume is impressive. He's earned the right to call his final shots. Time is up though and it's time to vacate the middleweight title.
