Cotto as a ww champion shouldn't have to concede to anything with Emmanuel Dapidran except money which he did. I told guys a while back that people would try to shite on both guys, and these are fighters the fans like too.

Cotto is supposed to have advantages going in, he is the ww champion, and the naturally bigger man. You can't even fights out weight wise. You are weakening the champion just to fit your cause. That ain't fair, and I'll continue to post this whether Emmanuel Dapidran wins or loses. If Cotto were the draw at 147, and Dapidran was a respected figher like Cotto at 140 which Pac is...Pac would've just come to 147...no problem.

you can't make a fight based entirely on your terms because you're p4p #1 and expect the champion to put his belt on the line. you want a title, fight at 147. if pac wants it to be a title fight so badly then why on earth would he make cotto come in at 2 POUNDS less than he would need to for it to be a title fight. its a ****ing joke, end of story.

all this **** about the weight is publicity. at the end the fight will be at either 145 or 147 but with the title involved. they would gain so much more promotion if the title was on the line. 7th world title a record. pacs team feels cotto is the easiest target out of the welter. i hope the fight gets made. still rooting for miguel. i feel like everyone isnt giving him a shot. hes a better boxer than people give him credit for.

If he didn't wanted the fight at 147 so bad, why did he agree to the terms? ... Cotto could've went into a different direction and no one would've been mad at him.

Pacquiao wouldn't be in the position he's in and he would be the one looking for a credible - accomplished opponent. (something that is harder for Pacquiao than it is for Cotto)

If everyone has a problem with Pacquiao then don't agree to fight the man ... simple as that ... and its a damn shame that a fighter wouldn't consider putting his title on the line ... in the case that Cotto may win, then he loses out on alot not having some kinda title to put on the line.

He would hold more lineage over any other welterweight (other than the former champion Mayweather - who never lost his title in the ring) and his title would further solidify his lineage as a welterweight.

Just imagine ... wins over Pac, Mosley, Judah, Clottey, Quintana ...

His lone loss coming to Margarito and other champions like Mayweather and Berto to be next in line.

He's making a huge mistake ... get everything in order and take care of business would benefit him alot more.

I can tell you this ... despite being the p4p king ... there aren't many fighters out there that meet the criteria for a big fight with Pacquiao ... his range is limited ... given that in 135 ... there's not much money there ... 140 there's not many names outside of Hatton and no PPV draws ... 147 they're a bit too big for him to have the clear cut advantage.

Outside of Mayweather, Cotto, and Marquez ... there really isn't anyone else.

Mosley for example can go up to 160 if the money was right ... Cotto, Mayweather, Margarito, Williams, and Berto can go up to 154 and maybe as far as 160 ... Pac can't do that and they're not willing to go that far ... thats why they keep having fights at these catchweights.
