Yes he will be.... Then if they think he will not be the same fighter as he was 147 then why agree at catchweight?:deal

Pacquaio is the one coceding weight. His best weight is 140. He coming up 5 pounds and Cotto is only losing 2 pounds.

Considering he came in against Clottey at 146 it's only 1 pound. You lose a pound from a gym workout or a good nights sleep.

Cotto is the one will all the advantages here in relation to weight. Pac only has the financial advantages.

It's alot when you have 1 day to lose it (and even then it's possible) but WITH FOUR F*CKING MONTHS TO LOSE IT WHAT'S THE PROBLEM. He's not a walking skeleton and he came into the Clottey fight at 146.

This 'fight night rehydrate limit' talk is pure nonsense. There is no such thing with the WBO, and Cotto will be able to balloon up as much as he wants.

Is this forum filled with ****ing boxing noobs?

I know, it probably sucks because he wont have the advantage of weighing over 15lbs against Pac.

You can't have you're cake and eat it too ... be satisfied with the fact that you're getting the opportunity to prove yourself against the best fighter in the world ... be satisfied that you're going to get an 8 figure payday ... be satisfied that you're going to be on the biggest stage of your life ...

Take advantage of it and come out looking to win in all aspects.

Fitz if the welterweight limit was 141-147 .. how could Henry Armstrong fight for and win a WW title at 138?

    141-147 isn't a limit, it's a range

the limit, or max of Welterweight is 147.

yes 145 is Welterweight since it is under 147.

Not an advantage at all since Pac doesn't need to gain much weight at all.... I don't even think he has to gain weight

okay ... the welterweight limit is 141-147 ... you can come into the fight how much you want to weight ... if you're fighting a welterweight fighter ... its not a welterweight if the two were aren't coming in at the above weights -

back then there wasn't a light welterweight division either ... you also have to remember he's challenging and defending at the weight ... its not his opponents weights.

If Pac wanted to have that be the contracted weight then Pac can come in at 135 if he wants to.

Actually it was ALL Hopkins' idea for the catchweight, DLH never forced anything.

If you'd be an informed fan, rather than a ******* you'd know. ;)

If Pac wants a welterweight title, he needs to fight at 147; PERIOD!

Cotto is exercising his leverage on Pac They are negotiating Pac wants the belt so he going to have to show Cotto the money. In the end i believe it will be a title fight.
