He also gave into the fights location. Pac wants everything his way. Want the belt? As its been said before come to 147 and fight for it.

Why should Cotto pay any sancationing fee if the bouts not at 147? he is doing the right thing. Manny wants the 147 pound belt let the fight be at 147! you cant have your cake and eat it too.

Based on his comments, I would say that Cotto doesn't give a f**k about his title...... give him more money...... lets say 1.0/1.5 mil more (or maybe more) and you will see that the title will be on the line.... I don't think that he is affraid of losing it or affraid of Pac, but he knows that his tiltle represents a lot for Pac.... and I think he is right, because just the fact that many people on this and other boards are asking for that and talking about the title not beeing on the line is enough prove that his fans care about it and therefore he (Pac) should care about it too. I think Cotto is gambling on that and just waiting for the right time.... remember negotiations are not finished yet....

If you were in Cotto's shoes would you be bragging about your title knowing that the real champ is actually Mosley and not you????? I wouldn't.... If I wanted to demonstrate that I am the real champ at 147 I would try to fight Mosley and not Pac, and if I had the chance to avenge my only defeat then I would go after Margo just to redeem myself and prove others....

Scrap the fight, Pacman should just wait for PBF/JMM

and Cotto should do the right thing and rematch either Mosley,Clottey or Margarito.

Title belt should be on the line. For ****'s sake, 145 lbs is all he have to weigh on WEIGH IN DAY!!!! On FIGHT NIGHT, he would balloon up to 155-160, so what's the big deal on it? He weighed 146 weigh-in on his last meeting with clottey, and weighed almost 160 on fight night. Why could he not do it against pac? Cotto should know that Pacquiao might weigh 148-150 on fight night, and Cotto will have the upperhand.

Damn, he's just ruining a good matchup.. I may be calling Cotto a chicken champ if he loses to pac- a champion who lost to a non-title bout less than the welterweight limit..

You don't know how many cotto weight in the fight so do not talk like you know. Lets give you and example Cotto outweight Corley by almost 20lbs and still got rocked, but you know why because he was almost death in the weight in, is not how many lbs can you ballon up is how healthy you are at the weight in.

cotto's being a ***** by trying to disadvantage pac by going up to 147..If cotto had balls he would put the belt on the line..145 is more than fair.

PRECISELY! Too much bull**** about 147...you nailed it, he is not confident that he can beat PACMAN that's why he's not risking his belt. But if he fights and lose with his belt not risked, do you think that belt has VALUE at all? STUPIDITY at it's best! :hat

what's ironic is that cotto instead wanted to give up the belt for nothing when he can have a chance to defend it at a megafight. if he wins, he still has belt, lot of money, more negotiating leverage for his future fights. is he insane? or he's not just confident of beating pac so in case he lose he still have a trinket title? that belt would be garbage if he'll lose to pac @ 145.

Well, it's probably a risk he's willing to take.

Think of the opposite side. If Pac agrees to fight at 147 and Cotto wins and retains his belt, wouldn't that belt automatically get more value?

COTTO weighed in 146 in his last fight. And you're scared for him going down one more pound and you want PACMAN to shoulder all the odds. You definitely got no BALLS! GTFO and find some BALLS :hat
