never heard anyone call a IBF champion a "fring contender". i'm no margo nuthugger by any means, but i think he beats cotto.

**** off. Baldomir was the Champ and had a better resume than Margarito. Judah was a good win. Hatton won a belt at 147.

    ABC belts mean nothing, imo.

Kermit Cintron was always a fringe contender, and his best win is Mark Suarez. That can't be an elite fighter.

Better resume, sure. Better fighter? No

The evidence of this is in the film and isn't affected by the 'champion' title that went along with Baldomir at the time.

The difference is that Baldomir has more good wins than Gomez and was actually ranked in the Top10 -as the Champ.

I just said that Baldo had a better resume.

He "almost" got KTFO. The fact is that he won the fight, won a belt and was ranked as a Top10 contender at 147 -as well as being the 140 champ.

Hatton would be beaten by every top WW? I don't know, and you don't know. Pure speculation.

All those fighters Floyd beat had belts at the time. Quintana, Mosley and Judah were belt less. Cotto beat Floyds leftovers in Judah. Quintana beat a paper champ in Paul Williams. Mosley is the only stand out on the list, even though Floyd easily matches that with De La Hoya.

Floyd beat over 20 champions and has 19 or 20 title fights ... Cotto has yet to reach that stage.

Cotto has to take the back seat to Floyd for right now ...

So if quintana beat a paper champ in williams, floyd beat the UNDISPUTED paper champ in Baldomir b/c williams is MUCH better than Baldomir,, also floyds leftovers won the 1rst 5 rounds against him so dont act like he ****ed the **** out of juadh and they dont counted a KD for judah in that fight , and cotto KTFO the guy who was dominating floyd for the first half giving him the worst beating of his life and losing only 2 rounds along the way

Mayweather has wins over 12 former/current world champions, spanning from 130 to 154.
