Cotto is the most overrated fighter of all time.

I guess you can say I'm a hater, but I just never liked Tito's attitude. Cotto to me is the better person, although some of his recent comments have taken some of his humbleness away.

 

You might not be Filipino, but you are just as much pro Pac as the biggest Filipino nut huggers. I am not a Floyd fan, but have seen you defend every single thing that hints at Pac or Arum being at fault. You also are quick to comment on Floyd hating threads. Just admit you are very biased.

I won't deny that I generally root for the Mexican fighter about 90% of the time, and I can be biased sometimes.

 

He's a B level fighter.

 

It is true... I love boxing, but at times I really hate the fans. Just looking at this topic it makes me sad. Then we have people like Slugger, who couldn't hold an interesting conversation if his life depended on it...

Quartey and tito were getting ready to fight eachother until dlh got involved and offered more money so quartey dropped the tito fight in favor to fight dlh which offered more money i dont fault him for that but wouldve loved to see the two undefeated fighters face eachother.. i think tito wouldve ko quartey

Cotto is a solid B, and Margo a C+ fighter. Just shows Manny hasn't fought a quality opponent in a LONG, LONG time.

 

I think Cotto gets alot of heat because alot of people measure him to Felix Trinidad which is a bit unfair but I think Cotto has had a real good career

Here are some notes about Cotto as well:

• Some of his earlier wins against Ndou and Corley they were former belt holders.
• The wins against Quintana Torres and Malinaggi are when those fighters were undefeated going in.

• Has won titles at 140,147 and 154 which what makes this even more impressive is like guys like Pacquiao and Mayweather he is really a small guy to be moving up divisions and winning belts.
• Avenged one of his losses (which was controversial as to why he lost in the first place), and its absolutely no shame into losing to arguably one of the best fighters of the decade in Pacquiao.
• Clearly developed better stamina and ability to take a punch from where he was at 140 to now, and developed into a much better boxer remember the days where he had the reputation as strictly a body puncher.
